Friendly, helpful staff. They allowed us to change the date of our reservation after a change in our schedule. There is a lot of room. Laundry, swimming pool, playground, fishing pond (catch and release). Well-manicured grounds.

Great campground. Plenty of room for my 42 foot 5th wheel. I did not have to unhook. Owners are very friendly. The pool looked very clean however we did not use it. Short drive from I35.

  • Sweet spot in the country with easy access

This was a great stop over. The hosts were very gracious and friendly. Lots of personal attention with great views and hiking trails if you’re so inclined. Facilities were extremely well tended and super clean. The friendly little town of Eagleville is worth a visit ... population a little over 300. A place out of time. Be sure to stop at the only restaurant for excellent pizza and homemade ice cream sandwiches!!

We were skunked at Walnut Woods State Park. Looking at options, we saw the positive ratings for Eagle Ridge. We called and reserved over the phone. We were greeted by the Harrises and overall had a good experience. Site was gravel, pretty level and the park was very quiet. Highly recommended.

There were only a couple hunting parties and us there on a cold November night. The sites are hard ground. Ours was nice and even. Early November, no recent rain so no mud problem. Water hookup could use some care; electric was 50 amp and worked fine. Husband didn't use any facilities. I checked out the ladies shower/restroom. Looks almost done with some renovation and it should be very, very nice--kind of shabby sheek? Roomy shower--clean.The laundry room had 2 new washers and 2 dryers--didn't use. Personal touches. At night I saw 1 "long timer" RV next to us. Very pleasant owner that I dealt with. $36 seems steep to park and use water and electricity, but it was soooo cold, we just wanted to ge to bed! Oh, we were under a big oak tree so there was intermittent rain of acorns. Glad we had added the slide out awning. I'm not sure what kind of coverage I have but I tried theirs and it was honestly VERY GOOD! I streamed a whole Netflix movie off of it, seriously! That's rare.

Independently owned rv park. Called ahead, made reservation and advised cash only. Nice greeting, scenic setting, couple miles off freeway. Limited wifi, but worked well enough.

Very lucky to get here during an unusually hot Memorial Day weekend. The owners are the nicest people you could meet. He led us to our site. It was the only site available and it was level, and had good electric, and was perfect! I wish we were staying more than one night.

  • Preseason opener, nice, off Interstate, grass and gravel. country setting in the misty hills of MO, almost equadistant between Des Moines, IA and KCMO.

Spacing not too crowded, but could be a busy place during their busy season. The have a small playground, small pool and a pond with walking trails. We were their first guest of the 2015 season and the water wasn't on yet because of freezing weather earlier that week. Lots of snow a week earlier too (first week in March). Some freeway noise, but not noticeable when RV buttoned down for the evening.
