Loved visiting downtown Tupelo and make sure to stop in the Tupelo Hardware store (almost 100 years old) it is where Elvis bought his first guitar.

Beautiful, serene, quiet. Gravel pads, pull throughs, full hookups. Very clean. Sites are arranged so that campers are not lined up in a row. Landscaped nicely. Would love to come back when things are blooming. Restaurants and shops close by.

We spent one night here on our way out West. The campground was nice and clean, gravel sites. We checked in after hours but everything was ready for us in an envelope outside the office. I thought the price was high considering where we were, $45 Good Sam rate. Easy on/off the Interstate.

  • Awesome. Pull thru. Late check in!

These people really have pride of ownership. The office is beautiful w plants and birds in front. Like a little garden oasis. They left my name and envelope with everything I needed for a late check in. My spot was right near the office so no hunting in the dark. Make sure you have cash or a check- no credit here. Great stop over. We stayed 2 days. WiFi was amazing and we were able to stream our favorite shows. Clean campground with gravel sites that are mostly level. Friendly staff.

We're winterized so it didn't matter, but the water spigot was very low to the ground, and we wondered how difficult it would be to hook up. The bathhouse situation was awful, though. The men's bathroom was closed, so the only access to a bathroom was the women's bathroom. A sign posted on the door advised people to lock the door so in effect only one person at a time (in an almost full campground) could use the bathhouse. Management did dump the trash regularly, and the sinks and showers were clean. But the toilets (in our two-day stay) were often dirty.

Even though we were only there for a night, everything about the place felt right. The owner was very congenial and accommodating.Full hookup, level site, what's not to like? Even decent WiFi!

Overall nice campground... just make sure to get a site close to the office. Campground host was extremely nice and helpful. Just a few watch outs...the main road getting to the park can be busy with traffic moving fast; the shower room had minim air conditioning and was hot (we were there in July), the back sites had virtually no shade.

There was good shopping close by and the Tupelo downtown is worth visiting. If you go downtown, make sure to stop and see Tupelo Hardware. It has EVERYTHING a hardware store should have. There are great bike trails nearby. We road the Tanglewood Trail from Ecru to New Albany. It is a well maintained asphalt rails-to-trails pathway. Great food in New Albany.
