Nearly level and so peaceful after being on an interstate frontage road the night before. Pool says open until 8pm but locked up tight at 6 pm. Lots of sites in the trees with nice separation, some tent sites, and a few gravel pull through sites all in a row for the huge sun blockers. There’s a detour to get here due to bridge construction, a windy road but fine with our little rig.

Beautiful KOA in the woods. Stayed one night passing through the area. Site 37 was level and private. Bathroom and showers very clean and nice. Fenced in dog area was a plus!! Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Only 1.5 miles off highway; gorgeous scenic sites, bathrooms cleaner than my home; hot shower; nicest KOA I have ever stayed in; had picnic table and filtering on our site, too. Love this place ❤️????????????

About 2 miles down a rural road past the junkyard. There is a restricted bridge, but everybody seems to ignore it. The pool was open and very inviting. Bath house spotless. Sites are a bit tight, but we managed. There is no cable, a few OTA channels. Quite a few large class A overnighters.

This campground is nestled in the woods. The restroom facilities are spotless! Nice big pool as well. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend stopping here for the night or staying longer to explore this lovely area.

I had no reservations, the new owners Patty & Terry, were very kind & welcoming. My 13 y/o daughter and I stayed the night in this beautiful setting. Bathrooms and the showers are great. Pool is clean and everything shows the pride of the owners. I wish my house was this clean. Great place to stay.

  • Can tell the new owners are trying...its good.

After a long day, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the new owners. Taken to my site and set up on a level spot which was tucked out of the way. Showers were clean and lots of water pressure. Convenient to I-20 (although maybe not for the really big rigs.) Overall solid location and I would stay again when on that route.

  • Stayed for an overnight in route and dont have any significant positives or negatives.

Good campground for overnight in route. GPS directions navigated through back roads but if one follows the website directions its an easy in/out from I20. Host very nice and accommodating. Site 3 was long and mostly level (did not need to disconnect trailer from truck). Quiet.

Even the rare train horn is quite a ways off. Our site was plenty large for our 40' 5th wheel and tow vehicle and we had no trouble getting in. Most of the sites are for smaller rigs but they do have some that are just fine for large rigs. Lots of trees and very shady.Full hook ups 50 amp and level gravel sites. Some the sites are concrete pads. There is a very comfortable swimming pool and the showers are in good shape. There is a kids play area and a 500' water slide as well. The park is well kept and clean. wifi exists but is is not particularly useful. Verizon service was pretty good.

Trust their directions even if it looks like you are getting lost. The path there is kinda sketchy but it all works out. Would stay again. They have all of the typical KOA amenities.

Most of the park is pretty shady which was great. Our particular site was relatively private in comparison but was really uneven. There’s a snack bar that’s only open on the weekends. Couldn’t get a straight answer on when the awesome water slide is open. Camp store was decent. Bathrooms were clean and big. Nice separate picnicking area near pool and a small dog run. Liked the pull through sites. They had 4 cabins, some tent sites, swings for the kids, an old wooden seesaw, some pool tables, fairly cheap breakfast from 6-10. Pool hours 10-8. Only 2 miles off the highway. Park wasn’t super busy on a Thursday in July. Overall we enjoyed our stay but will only stay in KOAs if we want to pay double (we usually camp at state parks) for a pool.
