Nighly rate above reflects monthly rate. We stayed here for a month at $450 (cash-only). This includes your first $100 of electricity and the woman I spoke to when making our reservation said they've never had anyone go over that (and we did not go over, either, despite relying on electric space heaters and an electric water heater). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - couldn't be better. Overall the place is primarily a permanent mobile home park with wide residential streets and there are some *extremely* dilapidated & junky homes, but it was a quiet and uneventful stay for us and we always felt perfectly safe. I-10 can be noisy some nights based on the wind direction. There is a block of spacious sites near the front for RVs, which is where we stayed. It's a short walk to the office & laundry (3 washers, 3 dryers @ $1.75 each).Unfortunately the one reason we can't stay here again is the park is in a Verizon congestion hole. Our Verizon data service would be blazing in the middle of the night, but in the morning would start to slow down and become a sporadically responsive, infuriating 0.2 Mbps crawl throughout the day and then gradually speed back up in the late evening hours. It was not a signal strength issue - just a network congestion issue. I actually drove around the area to find the nearest Verizon towers and aimed my directional booster at them to hopefully snag a different tower, but that only made matters worse. The park wifi was just as bad and even less reliable. We need internet for work and most days my wife had to set up camp in a nearby Barnes & Noble to get anything done.We scouted out the three RV parks east on I-10 (Oaklawn, Mazalea, and Parker's Landing) and chose Parker's Landing for our next stay (Verizon was fine at all three - ~40 Mbps at Oaklawn (least favorite) and ~9 Mbps at Parker's Landing).
