We camped here during the Covid 19 restrictions so we were happy to find a place to stay. The management were awesome and couldn't have possibly been more helpful. The majority of the campsites are occupied by seasonal residents and many of them are not well kept. The campground is located right beside a busy highway and just across the highway is a busy railroad. These things make the campground extremely noisy. T-Mobile cell service is totally non existent. While the park has WiFi we could rarely connection. I even sat at a picnic table right beside one of the WiFi transmitters and still no signal. We had intended to stay here a month but wound up leaving after one week.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a FHU pull thru.

Most of the sites were occupied with what appeared to be seasonal/permanent campers. There were 8 pull thru FHU sites in a row in the middle. Looked like these were for the transients. All 8 were empty when we arrived. There were a few empty sites scattered among the seasonal, plus some tent sites and 3 cabins. The upper entry level has the office, game/laundry room, rest rooms, pavilion, swimming pool, and what appeared to be park model homes for the staff maybe. You went down a hill to the camping area. Roads aren’t great. We were ok with a 36 foot motorhome towing a Jeep. No Verizon service but the WiFi worked fine. We were there during the week so not a lot of people were there using it. Sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Plenty of grass for dog. Our dish worked fine. Laundry area is in game room. One washer for $1.75 and one dryer $1.50 for at least 35 minutes. One night there were bad storms and we lost power. One of the staff came around (in a downpour) to let us know the power company had been called and it was not just the campground that was affected. Campground is right off the highway and there is a train track by the highway so there is some noise especially during the day. If you walk, there are trails around Lake Winona. The Levee Park is a good view of the river. The scenic overlook at Garvin Heights City Park gives you a view of the whole town. The Minnesota Marine Art Museum was good.
