First: this is a great campground! lots of family activities, pool/waterpark, river rafting/kayaking, etc... We had good wifi and there were not to many bugs. This place seems like it wants to be a KOA. We would stay here again if it weren't for the other problems that cropped up while were there. So a few things, the biggest was a Low Voltage problem the campground has on busy weekends. We ( like others) have a surge protector that cuts power to our coach at approx. 108volts. This goes for most any camper with electric and a surge protector. The problem was that it was HOT. We asked to have the camp maintenance man (Owner) to look into the problem. I had already switched us to an adjacent electric hook-up (no luck) and even tried 30amp (same: no luck). When he showed up he basically said there was nothing he could do and that people would be leaving soon. It seems we were a somewhat isolated case (one other site had the same problem) ....but still. We also had an issue with the owner (wife) when we arrived and registered. We were informed of the "great deal" we were receiving because they had a problem with there reservation system. There system allowed us to book for a month even though they have no available monthly sites. They obviously make the bulk of their money on nightly rates and those are FAR MORE than we payed. ($48ish p/night) Mrs. Owner proceeded to replay this story to us on two separate occasions...we heard you the first time!Luckily we were seeing family in the area and were able to stay cool elsewhere and not be stuck in a very warm motorhome. They place seems to have less than enough restrooms for the busy weekends. Our closest restroom was 2 port-a-potties three sites over.If you stay here you'll probably have a great time, it really is a nice campground but our stay was a bit "tainted" to say the least.
