This is an older campground but facilities (electric box/water/sewer) are well-kept and clean. We stayed here Fri-Tues in August and the weekend was packed with families and kids having a great time so sites felt tight, but Monday was very quiet, relaxing, with lots more breathing room! There is a small pond you can kayak and fish in, a playground, and pool plus laundry and bathhouses. Sites are dirt/grass mix (roads are paved) and many sites have seasonal occupants but all are tidy. We were charged an additional $10 "COVID fee" (applied to entire stay): it was explained that 2 more staff members had to be hired to clean the facilities several times a day under state guidelines. Big rid friendly.Lots of tall shade trees around the park and each site includes a wooden picnic table and small fire pit. We chose this park for location to friends and the city of Holland. We would stay here again if necessary (the state park was sold out the weekend we were in town). There is some road noise during the day but quiets down at night. Trains horns can also be heard but weren't bothersome at night. Wifi is offered but our site was supposedly between two routers so we couldn't access it.
