Easy in and easy out with flat sites. Perimeter sites have dedicated water spigot. Others might have to share water if park is busy. Private bathrooms to shower in that are cleaned daily. Camp host on site. Lots of long term guests that appear to go to work. Quiet place even on the weekend. Close enough to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, stores.
Awesome little place!

12 showers! Haha I know this seems like “so what?” but after 7 days in UP on state parks with ZERO showers or water or electric- this place looks like paradise! Water, electric, there’s a dump, showers (small but do-able) and wide open spaces to run and play (kids lol). Very laid back feel. A little far from town was the only negative (10-ish miles from Walmart and 15- from downtown Traverse City). Would definitely stay again.
