Gravel road coming into the campground with good signage at the entrance. Check in person was friendly and informative. This large park has a long list of rules that should be reviewed on their website prior to making a reservation. They charge by the person so it can be expensive for a family. We were able to stay mid-week in September at the Passport America rate of 2 people for the price of 1.The campground sites and roads are gravel on slopes which were muddy and had washed-out areas after a heavy rain. We had a full hookup, drive-thru site, and parked at the top of the slope, but still couldn’t use the sewer connection because it was positioned up hill of the driveway. We took the opportunity to use the laundry room, which was small and had old machines but the price was good and they did the job. The park was fine and very quiet for a mid-week overnight stop but wouldn’t be our first choice for a summer weekend unless we planned to float the river.
