We needed a place to land after traveling south from the UP all day and this was available and close to 75. The sites have tons of trees and the bathrooms/showers were very nice . The beach is a walk from the campground so if want to swim be prepared. There is a small fishing deck down the hill from the campground. We bought live bait at the BP in Roscommon.

  • Plenty of extras

We have stayed at this campground a number of times. It is one of our favorite places to stay.. This is a rustic wooded campground surrounded by state forest. There are miles of off road trails in the state forest which are accessible right from the campground. There is a private lake with good fishing. Canoos, kayaks and row boats are available for use on the lake at no extra cost. There is a beach for swimming and a large water slide. There are tent sites with no hookup. Many of the sites have water and electric. There is a dump station in the campground. All sites have fire rings and picnic tables. Firewood and ice are available in the campground for a small price. There is a nice playground in the campground. There are a few small cabins in the campground for $49 an night. The bath house was recently remodeled. The campground is only a few miles of Interstate 75.
