We would stay here again.Only negative, which is no fault of the campground, is there is a LOT of construction in the area making entry a challenge with some scary U Turns in the city because our Garmin doesn’t register it. So for any traveling in the immediate future here’s some notes.Exit 134 is closed (2/11/22), take exit 135. Do NOT try any route that takes you on the entrance through town, that end of Midland Road is closed. Stay on the frontage road, go through the 4 way stop (the frontage road curves up & back), then continue on the frontage road (has some construction but is passable) to Midland road, take a right, the park will be on the left. The office is the 1st entrance and pretty clearly marked. If you’re traveling in the next month or so, call ahead and they can give you the latest ‘best’ route... wish we had, newbie mistake.

Basic park. Full hookups. Perfect for over night stay- clean showers and laundry rooms. The internet was fast. And propane filling on site. We definitely stay again. Great stop for the price.

Reservations were easy by phone. They mixed up the date but corrected it with no hassle. The RV parks in the region are all just parking lots in the desert. This one is a little nicer but not high end. There is little cover or separation except that the park is not full. The sites are gravel/dirt. They are mostly level but I did need a leveler. Full hookups and pull through sites are available for all size rigs. The WiFi is better than average for a campground but still slow. ATT has 3 bars of 5G. Cable TV is available but we got most channels by antenna. The management is friendly and helpful. This is a good place to break up the drive across western Texas. I would recommend a visit to the Petroleum Museum. The map of the camp shows restrooms, showers, a workout room, laundry and dog wash.

We arrived late and left early so we really don't have much to say. Seemed clean enough and was quiet. We stayed one night in a 31' class C and used only electric.

Came in from CO on our way to NM. Office manager took us to our site which was an easy gravel pull through. Cable TV worked great but wifi was spotty.

A short block off I20. All sites for overnight are pull through with full hook ups, cable tv and decent internet. The area is typical oil boom town environment which equates to dirty and the odor of petroleum when the wind blows. The actual site was level and hard packed dirt. The staff were very nice to deal with. Nothing special....moreA short block off I20. All sites for overnight are pull through with full hook ups, cable tv and decent internet.
