This is quiet, low key park with a great location not far from restaurants, shopping and Fort Benning. Overall, my husband and I didn't have any major issues. The electric source caused our power meter to throw an error code for reverse polarity on the 30 amp feed, so we used an adaptor and hooked up to the 50 amp. Also, the water connection sprayed and we couldn't tighten it enough to stop the leaking. These are the little things this park could attend to & would enhance the overall experience. There are many long term residents and the rig next to us had a lot of items out around his site so it looked a lot like his personal yard ... It wasn't necessarily tidy but it also wasn't offensive, and our neighbor was quiet. And that's the main thing this park has going for it ... It's unbelievably quiet and the other guests were respectful. We'd definitely stay here again.
Nice, convenient and quiet but overpriced

We chose this camp ground due to it’s closeness to museums and downtown. They staff was very friendly but the park was not what we were expecting. The sites were very close to each other. It was a holiday weekend so it was pretty full and the campers were very quiet but for the price we expected nicer amenities. There is a railroad track nearby and several military gun ranges near by. On the Friday we were there the gun ranges were used from around 8 am until almost 10 pm. Overall this is a nice park but at 47 a night with Good Sam discount i would expect a lot better.

There are walking paths that are wide and well maintained. They are very convenient for walking the dog. Overall, the Park has a nice esthetic and friendly staff. There are three special event facilities referred to as, The Barn, The Pavilion, and Lillie’s Cottage. Also, there is a vintage chapel. My site was level and had a concrete pad with a sturdy picnic table. The Park is sandwiched between a railroad track and firing ranges at Fort Benning, both of which are quite active. I did not find this to be a problem at my site, but some of the sites nearer to the tracks may be more effected by train noise.

Gravel with concrete pads, park can be dusty. Restrooms will hopefully get a makeover soon as it functions but are a little dated and small. No cable, power grid seemed adequate. The park also has a lot of RV storage, which brings down the aesthetic a notch. I was pleased with my stay, considering the limited number of RV parks in Columbus. You will hear an occasional train and distant gunfire from military training, but I didn't find it to be a problem as was infrequent during our stay.
