We were able to book online after hours as we were driving past. Stayed in a pull thru site within trees. Clean shower rooms.

We stayed for 2 nights in April. Our kids enjoyed the playground. The bathhouse was very clean and modern. The sites all looked to be close to level. The price seemed a little high for the location. The neighboring sites sewage line hookup was beside my sites picnic table.

Loop A is fairly close to the highway and can be noisy at times. Mostly seasonal/monthly campers in this section. Full hookups and good campground wifi. Work full time from the camper with a Peplink mobile router and had fantastic ATT service and TMobile (cell service ratings are based on this, not a cell phone).

This is a very will maintained campground with conscientious owners and staff. Most of the sites are very level. I think it is one of the best campgrounds around the Winston-Salem area. There is traffic noise from the nearby interstate but that comes along with the easy access to I85.

  • Ok place with gravel mostly flat sites, right near I-85, interesting working water pump windmill!!!

Sewer, water close, 30, 50 amp and 15 amp right on pedestal and in good condition. Family owned by ex Highway Patrol guys so that explains the "my way or the highway" attitude.. nice enough to us .has a working water pumping windmill from I think she said one of the dakotas, and have a small pump jack ( used to pump crude out of ground at well sites mainly in Texas etc. ) to set up some time soon. The pool was closed but looked nice for use in warm weather. Only one bath house for the whole place up by the pool area.. It were good inside, clean, with 2 standard shower and one handicapped shower stall.. (see pictures)Laundry area was at the bath house with 3 pairs of washer/ dryers costing $1.75 to use each. They appeared to be a standard size not the super large you see in the laundromats. ( our friends went to a local laundromat and for $2.25 each had a much larger washer and dryer. she estimated it would have taken 4 loads at campground they only need to do two at larger laundromat units. ) wasWIFI at our site was good as was t-mobile and verizon according to our friends and ATT.. (you are close to a interstate which tend to good cell service for all carriers but sprint it seems.) because of the price would NOT stay there again.. we got a special rate of 40 which was better and that include taxes. :)Did walk around some of the D section, some of our group were camping there, but did not go down the A or B section.

  • Warning - do not camp here

He is a bully & will evict you for no specific reason & you do not get your money returned. We lost $43 x 3 sites. He states he does not need to give you any reason for eviction other than he does not want you on his property. We paid 3 mos in advance. He has the Davidson Co Sheriff's Dept on speed dial & when they did not evict us "within an hour" as he requested he became angry with them demanding the name of their supervisor. We did absolutely NOTHING to be evicted for except playing in the pool - splashing water on a 95 degree day. All the negative that you read regarding this guy (Arthur) is true - we experienced it first hand. He has a short fuse & is unwilling to listen to campers or reason. While it is a nice campground - I would never camp there again. My mother told him we would not be back to which he said, "If you're going to tell me you don't like my campground then I'm going to throw you out now!" His rules change from time to time & according to his feelings!! This guy is a hot head with a very short fuse!! Do not expose your family to his outrages!!!

Very nice level drivethru site. Pool closed. No senior or any discounts. Near Interstate 85 so you can hear the traffic. Lots of empty spaces. Convenient but priced not much below motels in area.

The A section, while paved is mostly monthly rentals, well kept but close to road noise. The B section is wide, deep sites with a patch of woods between sites. They are back ins but plenty of room to do so. We are 1 month into full timing, so the full hookups w cable and good Wi-Fi plus in park clean laundry room were part of the 5 star rating for us. The other part was the very friendly and helpful office staff. We didn't use the catch and release lake, not scenic under power lines, the pool was closed. C section is all pull thru but looked snug and not much space between sites. The D section was being expanded.

  • Decent, quaint campground, right off I-85

Only the entrance road and the loop around the pool are paved, and a little tight for long rigs. Section B roads/sites are in good shape, but C & D are somewhat rough (lots of washout areas). Didn't look at section A. Lots of trees in B & D, making for nice shade. Section B is spaced out with a small stand of trees between every site, but every site is back-in. Sections C & D are all pull-throughs.When arriving, pay close attention to direction signs on incoming roads. Don't make the mistake of turning on the road short of the campground, as it is a dead end and difficult to turn around (found out the hard way!).
