The sites are mostly grass, and many are sloped so that the water will puddle near your door. Our site was one big mud hole. While we know it rained harder than usual, and for 2 weeks straight, we were unable to move sites—enemy though one was empty during our stay. Many around us had to be pulled out. No warning or help from staff, only from helpful fellow campers to warn you of potential hazards. Our site (5C) also had poor sewage set up. The dump was about a ft above ground. With the poor slope of the site it was near impossible to dump there. The location is awesome- being close to Ithaca and beautiful larks, but i am not sure it’s worth the trouble in any rain.

Ditto the precious reviews. Huge campground which is FULL of seasonal campers. No rhyme or reason on site position. Roads in and out are terrible. There is only one dump station, positioned in the back of the campground. Terrible placement. Multiple people in line blocks the road completely. Kids seem to love the place. We had no help finding our site and road around multiple times before finding it. We did stay the 4th of July weekend. Loud partying late night.

The sites are poorly defined and there is no help upon arrival to assist backing in. It rained some this week and our site was a mess, completely flooded. No one came by to check with us. There are many full-time folks living here and many of them are not well taken care of/cleaned up. Lastly and most importantly the bathhouses were disgusting. The shower curtain had mold on it and it doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in ages. I hated taking showers in there. I felt more gross coming out than going in. The website is very misleading. Don’t stay here.

In an effort to be on softer ground they pitched the tent 30” from the back of my rig. The camp roads are rough and very tight for 2 way traffic. This is a kid friendly camp with activities and a pool. They have planned events on weekends. Absolutely no cell service or WiFi. Too much going on and too many very old seasonals. Just not my scene. It is close to some great state parks with cool waterfalls. There is a positive.

Lots to offer for kids, a huge jump pad, playground for big and little kids that were separate, large pool with graduated entry, peddle cars, a run down mini golf. Little country store too. I didn’t use the facilities so can’t speak to those. Full hook ups available for extra price $42 a night.

Decent place, wasn’t rowdy... your typical campground I guess... I actually set up Thursday night in the wrong site, tent campers showed up the next day and pointed out we were in there spot.. but we worked it out, they didn’t ask me to move (thank god) and the campground was cool with it... will probably go back

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We are putting 4 stars only because we prefer to be a little farther away from the neighboring RV's. It's a very social park with lots of kids playing, an inviting looking pool (still too cold out in May for us to want to swim yet) and lots of seasonal residents who are very friendly who were there through the weekend. The weekdays were very quiet, just us and one or two others. The site we had is a back in site with plenty of room to maneuver, a fire ring and a picnic table and full hook ups. We found using the internet, streaming Netflix etc all very good on the cell service we had from the site. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. We were there for a graduation in Ithaca and it is a 15 minute drive away from the universities, the town and lots of hiking and parks. There are a few state parks nearby with RV sites but we chose Spruce Row for the amenities!
