We stayed here in early November and it served it's purpose quite well. The self-service check-in for off season was easy enough and the dump station was still open as well. There are lots of pretty trees here and plenty of amenities.
Fun! Friendly! Kids loved it!

The campground is small and right in the middle of a subdivision but you would never know that. The trees are full grown. The atmosphere is outdoor fun and play. People filled the place and were coming and going. Rarely was there a spot open. The pool was refreshing and crystal clear (no nasty scum). The activities and sports areas were well worn but used and kids laughed and played on them all. The glow ride, foam play and dunk tank were awesome and definitely different than what we normally see at other places. Our stay was great. We would go again and have already tried to get back there this season but the dates we needed were booked. If you want to go.....book early !
Beautiful setting with trees and lots of green space. Plus a bonus of being 15 minutes from the city and 30 minutes from Lake Michigan!

Woodchip campground is the perfect spot for short term or long-term stops...and for part-time RVers or full-time! It's family friendly and extremely clean and quiet. They have a nice pool and a large grassy dog park. On the weekends there are activities for kids. The staff/customer service is top notch. I highly recommend Woodchip!
