Two campgrounds here. We stayed in the harbor side campground, space 56. There is another wooded campground. To reach the lakeside sites take a right at the dump station. We stayed in the harbor side campground, space 56. There is another wooded campground. To reach the lakeside sites take a right at the dump station. This review is of the lakeside campground. Overall a good experience. Huge plus being waterside. A good amount of room between sites but nothing dividing sites like trees or shrubbery. $30/night or $150/week. Self pay at the marina adjacent to the campground. Slips and drop box are located on the garage facing marina parking lot. Call the casino if you have any questions. There is a camp host on site. Sites are very long and can fit any size rig. Sites are grass with electric boxes, two per podium (make sure you have a long power cord or park accordingly. Sites are fairly level. Picnic tables and fire rings. Sites line the campground road some i. The water and the others just across the street. There is a community access beach just outside the campground near the lighthouse.Dump station with drinking water. Large dumpsters and portable potties. Didn’t use the porta potties but noticed they are pumped a couple times a week by a honey wagon that will also pump out your black and gray. Playground for the kids. Yes there are some long term residents but we learned that most are local residents that park an RV here for the season, meaning it isn’t as busy as it may look during the week. The weekends are quite active. Cell service only 2-3 bars and slow but usable (AT&T & Verizon). The campground has WiFi but it was slower than cell at our site.Grocery store, gas and post office in Baraga. Cheapest gas just north of the park on 41. A couple small restaurants. GREAT breakfast at the Night Owl in L’Anse about 7 miles away around the end of the harbor.45 minutes to Houghton/Hancock1.5 hours to MarquetteCheck out Abbaye Point across the harbor (sandstone and quartz) lightly visited and dog friendly.

We stayed here a year ago and the rate was $22 and they were generous with a campers package12 Back in sites at the edge of the parking lot All have full hook ups 1-6 are 30 amp 7-12 are 30/50 amp the 50 amp did not work at any of the sites. We stayed here three nights for LSPR in October. It was their last weekend and we were the only ones in the campground. The rates here are amazing. $21 a night for a full hookup is a great deal. However there are only four full hookup sites. They are close together and wouldn't seem to provide enough room for a larger camper unit....moreWe stayed here three nights for LSPR in October. It was their last weekend and we were the only ones in the campground. The rates here are amazing. $21 a night for a full hookup is a great deal. However there are only four full hookup sites. They are close together and wouldn't seem to provide enough room for a larger camper unit. But for our smaller camper it worked fine. There are two campgrounds, the lakeside and the powow. We were in the Powow. The sites there do not seem to be well defined with no real defined pads. They seem to just be a bunch of power boxes sprinkled throughout the woods. I suspect it's more intended for a group camping situation. The lakeside campground seems more defined. The powow campground is among a bunch of tall trees which makes for a really nice setting, especially with the changing leaves. There is wifi in the campground. The signal fluctuated at our site some, but was overall usable with speeds around 50mbps when I measure. The campground was pretty quiet, but we were the only ones there. There was some road noise that could be heard from US41. At night there are street lights throughout the campground. I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but its kind of annoying. There is a beautiful lighthouse and views of the bay adjacent to the campground. It would be walkable from either campground. Overall our experience here was pretty good and we'll likely be back next year.
The location is beautiful, but 99% of the people here are permanent residents

It's a very chill drop a check into a mailbox type registration, $19 a night for the inland spots and $25 a night for the waterfront spots. We were excited for a change of scenery from the casino, so this seemed like a win-win at the time. However, be aware that the vast majority of residents there are permanent, so if that's a vibe you want to avoid, I wouldn't recommend this place. For us, it was fine for a couple of nights while we explored the Keeweenaw Peninsula.Electric only, no water or sewer hookups. There is a dump station. Lighthouse is nearby with a sand beach. Wifi throughout the park was useable but not amazing. Verizon and AT&T signals were good/useable.
