You can’t get any more peace and quiet, which I am always looking for. It is just off of Highway 79, up a steep hill. Check in is at the hotel. Before you enter the campground. The site is built on a mountain with 4 distinct sections keeping it from feeling like your standard RV parking lot. Maybe st sites are pull thru with full hook ups. Because it is associated with the hotel, campers can use the small hotel pool and restaurant. The site has laundry, showers and a small dog run (all at the bottom of the hill). The site is filled with trees but most of the rv spots are full sun. The hill coming in off the highway is steep with a tight turn but doable. You are a stones throw to Lake Sutton. Recommend if you are looking for quite and low key.

Convenient but simple KOA off the highway where there are not many campgrounds. Not a lot of amenities like most KOA’s and is located behind a Days Inn. Large pull-through level, gravel spots. Would stay here again.

There were three of us lined up which blocked most of the entrance parking.Site is clean from what I can see, gravel pads seam quite level but mine was quite swampy due to rain.In the higher number pads, you can guarantee a wonderful overview of the surrounding mountains. All hookups excluding cable and the wifi sucks... Well the signal is great but the speed is less than 350kbps. TV service is almost non existent, a couple of digital channels and that's it, so if you're thinking of streaming, you're out of luck.Other than that I would come back...

Unable to back up or turn around, we did a loop through the campground and back to the hotel parking lot. There are no RV check-in lanes and the hotel parking lot was fairly crowded, so we just pulled across two parking spaces and blocked one of the aisles while checking in. Although the KOA is not far from the interstate, the road to get there is steep and has some sharp turns. Inside the campground the roads are narrow with some steep hills possible (depending on which section you're in). Our site was sloped so we could not get our motorhome level with just the jacks and had to add some blocks under our low wheels. The sites are mostly pull-throughs, with a few back-ins. Our pull-through was plenty long and wider than average for a KOA, with a gravel pad, grass lawn, picnic table, and BBQ grill. The area was pretty with lots of trees and hills. We were only there for one night but never saw any KOA staff. They did have free WiFi that was slow but worked fine for basic usage. Verizon and AT&T both had strong service. We might use this KOA again as an overnight stop but will first look into what other options are available.

We were not able to level in our site. The other sites in our section seemed on a similar slant. The grounds were very well kept and the whole place was attractive if a bit mountain steep.
