We camped off season, and mid week, so Pine Acres was absolutely deserted and quiet. They guided me to my spot, and helped me back in (again, my first time!). They have everything from lake view full hook ups, to luxury cabins, to wilderness camping spots. During our mid week, off season visit most things were closed, but the lake still provided great fishing opportunities, kayaking and paddleboat fun, we used the hiking trails and dog park. We'll be back!

The amenities are abundant and the service is exceptional. The park is on Lake Dean and has a lovely beach to play on. This is a great kayaking lake and my son thoroughly loved fishing on it. This is a massive park with a cozy feel. Unfortunately we had truck trouble, so we stayed 8 days longer than planned....but this family-run park went out of their way to help us in this tough situation. They relocated us to a site where we could stay as long as needed and blessed us with so much help. We will return again when in the area undoubtedly. The laundry is clean. During peak season and weekends they have a store that is well stocked with a cafe. The pool, playground and activities keep the children happy and this campground is hopping on a fall weekend. The only area that we found room for improvement was the wifi, we did not care for the one hour ticket system (or you have to purchase)...at this price, there should be ample free wifi. This is a destination campground and a wonderful choice. If in season, go apple picking at Brookfield Orchards and enjoy watching the fall leaves change color! Also, although this park is off the beaten path....there are two spots located outside of the gate for those wishing easy overnight access....and they are amazing overnight spots.
I am here as a workamper for the summer

It has 350 sites, full hookups to wilderness tenting to cabins of all kinds, rustic to executive. As large and busy as the park is, one never loses the sense of wilderness and forestry. The tall pines, very tasteful landscaping, and the layout produce camping at its best. There are many amenities including a large pool, mini golf, horseshoes, an arcade, a country store, fishing, boating, biking, hiking in the area, campfires, and all kinds of planned events, every day, for adults and children. The resort is run by several generations of one family and is well-maintained. The family is very involved in all aspects of running the campground, and pride of ownership shows! Leashed pets are welcome.
