Great for an overnight. A bit off the beaten path, but no road noise.

The kids loved this place though, they thought there was a lot to see and explore. There is a manmade beach pond and medium sized pool that were pretty chilly in late August.Friendly staff! If you like flea markets or antiques, there are tons of places nearby! They charge extra if you have kids. Because you know, it's camping.
A pretty nice, heavily wooded campground a bit far off the beaten path.

The campground is located pretty far from most interesting areas, but for us it was a nice and fairly convenient place to stay while visiting Six Flags and The Big E. There's a pretty nice supermarket in town just a couple miles away. Most of the campground is heavily wooded with steep hills that would be challenging for any RV, but the central areas for short-term visitors camp were fairly open and level. Our pull-through site (end of the row) was very nice and larger-than-average, but others looked more average. The WiFi didn't work for us, but AT&T and Verizon worked fine even though we had a weak signal (2 bars) for each. There were plenty of places to walk our dog inside the campground, including a large grassy field near the entrance. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We'd very likely stay here again if returning to the Springfield area in the future. Big rigs should follow the directions on their web site rather than GPS directions.
