After traveling from New York to Virginia we needed a place to stop for the night. We didn't make reservations in advance but I found them on google maps, called and they had a few open pull through sites open. It was easy to check in and leave in the morning. The turn to leave the pull thru site was a little tight and we scraped a decorative fence with the tail swing. We pay better attention to that now.
Nice place for family summer fun

I chose this campground for it's full hookups and it was 2 hours away for my first RV experience. The owners were very welcoming. They have mostly seasonal sites but they do have shorter stay sites. They can accommodate 50' campers in pull-throughs and smaller RV's in another section that are also pull throughs. There is a pool, pond with a fountain, small camp store (no groceries) with sodas, snacks, ice cream and some supplies. There is a large field for play and a volleyball net and some playground equipment. There are a few tent sites and cabins, as well. The only negative is the small camper sites were very close to each other. One's sewer was in the neighbor's outdoor area. I am a newbie and have learned that this is not unusual. There's a mixture of trees and sun. Gravel parking area and I thought pretty level. It was well kept. There is one shower/restroom facility but I did not go in. I was able to make phone calls, texts and watch youtube videos on my Sprint phone.
