Campsite was near the office, so I felt safe being alone while they were gone. It was an easy half mile walk into town for shopping & meals. Anna (owner), Steve (her dad), ad all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus, very well maintained & clean campground & facilities. This old GA gal definitely plans on a repeat visit in a few years.

It’s great location make it but a short stroll to downtown Winthrop for shopping and dining. And located right across the street from the historical Shafer Museum. The Methow Valley is also a very cool part of the state to explore. Every day we were here we found something new. i.e. hiking trails, campgrounds, scenic viewpoints and eateries. Sites are very close to each other. We were but a mere 12-15’’ away from our neighbors on each side of us. You park on a well kept carpet of grass, with full hook-ups and good wi-fi. Restrooms and showers are kept very clean even with heavy use. Laundry is available on site. Very tidy park, many shade trees, and very busy. The park site was full almost every nigh we were there. The park is pretty quiet at night though. This is a very popular rv park due to location, so busy is to be expected. Friendly and knowledgeable management are always available to assist.Forest service campgrounds in the area would be our choice to stay at when we return to this area.

If you want good wi-fi, good cell (ATT), and as close to town as possible then this place is for you. Did not use rest rooms, but laundry was nice and convenient.

Grassy sites and walking distance to town where parking is pretty much non existent on a busy weekend. Extra charge to use tiled showers but towels and floor mats are provided which was a first for us.

Our spot was sunny most of the day but we were able to run a/c. (If I could choose, I'd ask for site #21, large and shady.) Easy, friendly check-in with staff who led us to site and helped us back in. We had an issue with some trash that appeared to have been scattered between our site and the next several sites occupied by big trucks, power boats, and throbbing bass music. Campground staff took care of it quickly. Campground wi-fi was adequate only for email, but we had 5G network access with our own setup. Showers are not free. Laundry was clean and had larger commercial-sized W/D. We'd stay again because it's close to town but only during off-season, I think.

The RV sites are set into a field of green grass, which was a nice change from dust and gravel, and the people who run it are friendly and helpful. But the one shower available cost $1 for 2 minutes and the one trash site was an unsightly wagon overflowing with garbage bags. Still, given the hot weather, we were glad to find an easy access shady spot where we could turn on the air-conditioning. The town of Winthrop is walking distance from the campground and is done up as a mining town resort. Cute shops and restaurants, but note that on Monday and Tuesday nights your dining options are limited pretty much to hot dogs and the one Mexican restaurant that stays open.

I wanted full hook-ups because temps were going to drop below freezing and Pine Near hit the spot!Owners are very friendly and walked around the park with me while I picked the spot I wanted (a lot of empty spaces in November!). After 10-mins of discussion, she helped me back in to the spot I decided on and swung by again later on to see if I needed anything. Great location in "downtown" Winthrop. It's off the main street, but an easy 5-min walk to the main street. Several good options for food and beverages in town and the local brewery made that walkable distance a key attribute!Very clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Strong WiFi and AT&T (even inside my Airstream without a booster for either). The Methow Valley is one of my favorite places in world and Pine Near is a excellent base camp for exploring.

But I ended up here the first time mostly due to lack of planning. What luck! It was a super pleasant stay, with an extremely friendly and helpful staff (family)? It's a short walk through a charming museum town and down a boardwalk to the Gold Rush style town that borders on feeling like a totally manufactured ghost town, but is actually a thriving little touristy area with restaurants and shops, in original old building, and historical markers scattered throughout. The park itself is one big (constantly watered) grassy area, with sites and small shade trees arranged throughout with not much more than the electric posts and large boulders to protect the sewer connections to mark the sites. Though there isn't much privacy, it does feel laid back enough when it isn't busy. The first time I stayed here, it was quite nice. I also stayed here during Labor Day weekend, and it did feel a bit packed in when it was full. It's set a few roads back from the main road, so very little traffic noise.Nice, tiled (paid) showers (I didn't use). Good laundry facilities (I did use). EXCELLENT Wi-Fi. Some of the most consistent/fastest I've experienced, and no annoying third-party login required. The Methow Valley is a lovely area to explore, and this park is in a great location to do it from. I checked out the nearby state park, and would still choose to stay here again.
