Stayed Mid Sept. 2021, standard back-in site. We loved the location and the campground. Quite large sites, even for a standard site. Very well taken care of, nice pool, quiet. Very well taken care of, nice pool, quiet. About 3/4 of the resort was park models and the rest was RV sites. There was so much to do here it killed me to leave. Some nice little trails through the woods. Nicely located between Kennebunkport and Algonquin. About 40 min from Portsmouth, which we loved so much I was there on 3 different days. We will definitely be back in the area, but I'm not sure if we will stay here again or look for someplace a little closer to the water. Nothing against the campground itself, it was super nice but felt a little removed.Tip - definitely go to Congdon's donuts. Get there early because they quickly sell out most things by around 9:30am and that's in the off-season.We were surprised the cell service wasn't very good here.

  • Premier resort? Don't think so...

They were quick to acknowledge you and offer help in any way they could. This park has quite a lot of park models, and they are clean and well kept. The paved interior roads are tight for large rigs, and the RV sites are very basic. They are fairly level with decent spacing but they back up to each other and there is no privacy. The sites are grass and dirt. When it is wet (which was basically every morning), it sticks to the bottom of your shoes like mud and you drag it all over the place. Annoying beyond explanation! There are picnic tables which could use a good power spray. It is quiet at times and noisy at others with traffic from I-95. Satellite worked in our site but wouldn’t in most. The WII FI was barely use-able, and our Verizon hot spot worked erratically. And, not their fault, but the mosquitoes were awful! On the bright side, the bathrooms and laundry room are clean. The pool area is very nice, and there are games like corn hole and bocce. There are also billiards and arcade machines in the main building. The park is centrally located with easy access to Wells, Ogunquit, Kennebunk and Portland. It is also a five minute drive to the Wells public beach. All said and done, very pricey for all the negative aspects. They advertise themselves as a resort. At the very least, they should have screaming WII FI and paved sites. Thinking we’ll check out some other parks for next visit.

Extremely clean campground, level grass sites with ample room between sites. The pool & showers/bathrooms/laundry were extremely clean. They have a small camp store, clubhouse, billiard room, playgrounds, and the local trolley stops at the office. $68 per night is a little steep but competitive for the area. Great base camp for seafood tasting in the area.
