The one recent review of Days End proved spot on. The owners are so pleasant and clearly proud of their campground. We were warned of the roosters behind our site that would be up early. We enjoyed both theirs and the other animal sounds at the next door farm. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and the showers warm. The shower stalls had much appreciated multiple hooks, shelves, and a seat. In the women’s there was even a basket of small shampoo/conditioners and soaps. We don’t often stay in RV parks. Days End was perfect and reasonably priced at $35, including electricity, water, showers, and laundry.

As others have mentioned, the gentleman who answers the phone sounded a bit gruff. We never met him as we arrived after hours but there were several spots available and after hours check in was simple. The owner's daughter came by to give us codes for the showers and wifi and see if we needed anything. The lights by each spot contributed to the clean, safe atmosphere. The only negative -- the person who trims the bushes started before 8 am. That sucked. If you aren't there on tree trimming day I think this is a five star. We'd stay again.

  • Surprisingly nice and quiet for a quick 1-nighter.

So Days End was the next closest one we could find. And you know what? It was actually very sweet, small, clean and quiet. Each spot had some grass, as well. And there was a little dog run area there but it was all gravel. We were only there 1 night with our 22' Airstream Bambi Sport. We didn't need to use any of their facilities so I can't comment on those. But we had Verizon bars and Wifi there. It was right on the corner of the road we were driving on so that was convenient. There is absolutely nothing to do in Standish, CA but there was a gas station right across from the RV park, which was convenient.I wouldn't choose this as a destination-type of RV Park, but if I had to stay there for 1-night again because of where I was in my travels, I would. It felt safe and convenient.

It just has the right feel. I won't add to what others have said except to concur.

Very easy access off of Hwy 395, level, wide, gravel pull thru sites with easy access hook ups. Large dog park area which is in good condition. Overall, the park is quiet, especially at night, and pleasant during the day with wide open vista views. Within walking distance to a US Post Office! Good cell coverage with AT&T. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again next Spring! Thank you, Arnie!!

We ended up staying overnight at a Cabela's and just wanted to go somewhere to refresh the next day. This was the perfect spot. RV parks aren't our normal because they are so close together and well we have 3 kids that aren't so quiet. The spots in the middle are kept for people that come and go so they were easy pull in and out. It had full hookups and the cleanest showers that we have seen since traveling on the road! The sites were very close together but for a quick stop it wasn't a bother for us.I put it was like being back on the farm because we used to live on a farm in Alabama. There was a house next door with chickens and roosters. The roosters started really early around 5 am and continued to try and wake everyone up all morning. It didn't bother us but I could see how it could be very bothersome to someone who isn't used to it. The rooster and chickens would walk all around the rv park which the kids and us loved. There was also a large bunny that made an appearance as well!Oh yeah! They had a nice little laundry center there too so we got all of our laundry done that night too! The owner was very nice and helpful! We had good cell reception as well because everything is open with no tree coverage. The closest city for groceries or needs was Reno which is about an hour and a half away.

This was mean as a one-nighter from here to there and it was perfect. Quiet even thou it was on the main road.

This is our go-to overnight spot on 395 & we've stayed here a few times. The manager is friendly, the park is quiet & facilities are spotless. Although it is conveniently right off the highway, we didn't hear much road noise and it backs up to a field/residential area where we like to stretch our legs after a long drive.

  • Great location at the intersection of 395 and A3.

There was even little bar soaps and conditioning shampoo in case you need some. It is also ADA compliant. The park itself is beautiful with flower gardens and nice decorations.
