Almost $50 for a MOSQUITO INFESTED campsite AND THEN $10 Per Head to use their pool!!! Also a Windy location with little in the way of shade trees or shelter; we moved to the Malta City Park; $5 with shade, flush toilets, & water…. Less windy & less mosquitoes!….In town so close to everything!….

This is really in the middle of no where. But beautiful rolling prairie. Signage is poor. Unclear where to check in. Our site has trees. It is a back in site. There are some pull thru. I think the nicest site would be 7. It is at the end of the row and the picnic table and fire pit on the open side. There would be lots of privacy. Didn’t use the pools or the shower/bathroom facilities. Quiet.

Not a good experience. Poor signage from the get go, building not even labeled. Mosquitos so bad had to hussle to set up, take down & to antiquated unsecure shower house. Picture no separate entrance between men's & women's bath rooms and ZERO doors, only shower curtains separating stalls. Fees changed from former reviews. $36.38/night now plus 6 bucks per person to use pools, which get refilled every Monday so were not an appealing option with only 3 feet of water. Most unsettling part was I wanted to pay cash and they insisted on taking a credit card for damages/incedentals and were not clear that it gets charged for a one night stay regardless! Glad I asked for a receipt as I would have paid double, they supposedly debited my card back, which they said will "take a few days". We will see. Maybe I should have asked for my cash back instead. The receipt doesnt even have any letterhead moniker about who issued it!!! No name, address or contact info, hinky. What was also hinky was a patron looking at a brochure and hanging out close to me while I was registering and giving the clerk my personal info. I walked closer to the clerk and lowered my voice and the patron came even closer. The clerk should have intervined. Not cool, but the ability to plug in AC was since it was 99 degrees at 6pm! For that I was thankful.

There is a hot pool, a cold pool, and a huge normal swimming pool. They all smell slightly of sulfur from the hot springs, and it seems to make the water kind of soothing.Other than this resort, there is nothing. This isn't the edge of the world, but you can see it from here.Overall, this is a nice quiet place if you want to break up your drive across this forsaken barren landscape.

Though parts of the property are still pretty run down, They are working hard at renovating the place and have completed the pools/sauna/workout room which are beautiful! There are 15 full hookup back-in sites that are closely spaced in an open area. Probably not great for a big rig as I didn't see a place for them to turn around, but I would ask. A convenience store will soon be open on site.
