We’re in a 32ft RV (no toad).Stayed here for a week while my parents were visiting Maine. We choose this campground because it was close to Old Orchard Beach and belonged to the PA discount program. We’re super glad we choose it. The family running the place are extremely nice and helpful, the shower and bathroom facilities are clean (quarters are required for the showers though), and the campground is located walking distance to food, grocery and the Eastern Trail bike/walk path. It’s a small campground, and mostly has full-season residents, but we were here in mid-October, literally right up to their closing data. Saw a couple of other traveling RVs come through, but it was really quiet. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we’re back in Maine!
Private park with full hook-ups, close to shopping and restaurants, but best of all you can access the Eastern Trail (rail to trail) right from the campground.

Silver Springs is a well-maintained private park that is almost entirely seasonal or long-term campers. However, the owners and seasonal residents were very friendly and there are a few spots for overnighters. The location worked well for a one night stop on our way south from Acadia National Park. We were in site #10 which was actually a double site that we had all to ourselves. It was a long, level, gravel pull through with water, sewer, and 20/30/50amp electric. The roads in the park are also gravel. Sites vary in size and quality. There is adequate separation, but no privacy. There are restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities – but we didn’t get a chance to check them out during our brief stay. The real plus for this park is location. You are close to shopping and other amenities. We especially loved being able to access the Eastern Trail right from the campground. The rail to trail is great for walking or biking and there were other forested hiking trails within walking distance of the park. The website lists the FHU rate as $50 for a one-night stay, the Passport America discounted rate was $32.50 plus tax ($34.88 total). We had 4 bars of Verizon 4G unboosted. The park offers free WiFi, but it is throttled and we ended up not using it – Roger’s OS update would have taken 15 hours to load. Lol.
