We have had other really good experiences with KOA. However, that ended with this place. We booked site #49 (pull-through) for our 20 foot airstream. We arrived about 5:30 pm. The next morning our car and camper were both covered with bees. Not bumble bees. Yellow jacket looking bees. About 20 on our car and about 20 more in our camper. My husband had to get in the car and pull it all the way down the street of the campground before I could get into the car. I told Evan in the front office and his response was, “Maybe you brought the bees.” How obnoxious? He offered us another pull-through by 2 power boxes with yellow tape around it. When I told him I was not satisfied with that spot he told me abruptly, “You can take a refund and leave then.” They sent a worker by the name of Duck to come assess the bee infestation situation. Duck told us that the campground knows of the bee issue at this site as they can other campers here a few days prior who also had to leave because of the swarm of bees. Our whole day was spent packing and going to another site. We will stay at this ridiculous site with yellow caution tape for tonight. We will never come back here. What if people gave a bee allergy? And this campground knowingly put campers in a site with a bee infestation problem. Then the manager tried to act like we brought the bees. I’m infuriated. I understand that bees could happen but take care of the issue don’t knowingly put customers at risk and don’t try to pass the buck onto the customer as if it’s the customers fault. I suggest going somewhere else. Bayley’s campground which is not that far has a spot for us tomorrow.

I was able to get a pull though same day reservation. The staff are helpful and the park is well kept. The WiFi is actually stable and usable. It’s slow, but stable. My work VPN has had no problems working on it during the day, email and VDI work fine. Slow but I’ll take it.

We’ve stayed here many times. There’s tons to do in the area and super convenient from the highway if you just need to stay the night. We’ve stayed in 4 different spots here over the past couple years. Tons of pull through spots, but we prefer the back-in sites 117-122. Tons of pull through spots, but we prefer the back-in sites 117-122. We requested site 114 this time, it was super private and awesome but a little tight getting in with a 33ft travel trailer. We’ve never stayed in sites 1-27, they are right next to the main road and a car dealership. We’ve also seen other people have to drive around the entire campground in order to get back to those sites when they first arrive which seems cumbersome. We look forward to staying here again!

Busy and tightly packed. We arrived to find a bunch of people in the campsite next to us, and they had a lot of their stuff in our space. Not a big deal since they moved it quickly, but with 10 people in a site in a campground that's tightly packed and you'll end up having no room. Not that you have much room with 2 people, just saying...moreBusy and tightly packed. We arrived to find a bunch of people in the campsite next to us, and they had a lot of their stuff in our space. Not a big deal since they moved it quickly, but with 10 people in a site in a campground that's tightly packed and you'll end up having no room. Not that you have much room with 2 people, just saying. Seems like a requirement for being a KOA is to pack the sites as closely as possible so you can hear your neighbors breathe. Our site in the woods is level. Looks like most sites are pretty level. Has some nice amenities, but we're self contained and generally don't use them.Lots of smoke in this campground, but it dissipated quickly as they have an 11pm campfires out rule.Multiple loops. There are two nicely wooded areas, one that's open in the sun with no shade, and another that's in a cul-de-sac.Coming into the largest area of the campground takes you through a gate and through the woods. It's a bit tight, but not a problem if you're driving slow. Our Airstream had no issue. There's a number of big rigs in here too.We rode down by the beach and the place was super packed. Verizon service had strong LTE signal but was barely functioning. I think the towers there were overloaded due to the volume of people. Verizon worked well at the park, and AT&T in our Airstream worked well too. This place is expensive for what you get. They're selling on location to beach I guess, but it's not *that* convenient. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless it was the only option and I was just passing through.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Facilities were nice and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. The camp sites are a little tight but staff member was helpful with parking. We would stay here again.
