Booked a 15 day stay with high expectations. Left two days early with zero refunds of fully paid booking. 30 amp only sites. Power was "dirty" My power management system kept disconnecting me 2-20 times per hour. Staff just shrugged and stated they've been trying to get someone to upgrade the elec all year....ugh and that helps???Sites were def an afterthought at this old hunting camp/cabins set up.Take a hard pass on this decaying neglected hunting camp and stay either coastal Maine or at one of the southwestern lakes region RV camps instead.

The hosts and other campground employees are very friendly. Strict rules about not bringing in firewood even if purchased locally. Some of the permanent residents worked for the park and not all are very social. Nice beach and lots of boat docking space. Restrooms and showers are clean. The lake is a lake that I am very familiar with and it is huge with good fishing and boating. They do have full hookups and WiFi for extra, no discounts but I was told discounts are available after Labor Day. There are better campgrounds in Maine. This one is ok for families with young children because of the nice beach. I did not see very many spaces for campers like myself that are not interested in permanent spaces. I would not return because it is not my kind of place for me. They do keep the area very clean and have someone picking up campers trash throughout the day.
