For the price is was great.Somewhat rustic. Most sites in the trees. So, no satellite service. Limited big rig spots. On the bright side, they have both an indoor pool and and outdoor pool--both pretty good sized. Excellent free WiFi. Very family oriented. Be sure to call for directions before heading out. There are a couple of roads in, and one is definitely not big rig friendly.
Convenient for visiting the area...

Otherwise, it's rather out of the way. I visited last year to check it out while visiting family nearby on the lake. I brought the RV this time and mainly parked it here for the convenience and hookups. The front office staff was nice on the phone when calling ahead to make a reservation. Check-in was quick and painless. The site was okay, requiring some leveling and the utilities were basic but worked fine. This is the sort of place that might not really deserve the title of 'resort' if you know what I mean. It's land rich for sure, with a long shoreline of primium lakefront real estate. But the majority of the park consists of longer term residents and much of the park shows it's age. They were doing some pool deck renovations last year but things look pretty much the same otherwise. If you're looking for a spot near Grand Lake with water access, this would do if you're not looking for anything fancy. I had decent AT&T service with a booster.
