The RV Park FHU sites have a generous, perfectly level, concrete pad; absolutely no challenges in setting up the rig. The campsites towards the back of the park have large mature trees and offer shade for you site during the hot summer months. The WiFi was fine for general internet surfing and email; even used it for a video conference call (a few bandwidth hits though). Restroom/shower facilities were adequate, but clean. As you are literally next door to the Amusement Park, you will experience the noises from the park; but it was a joy to watch the youthful excitement of the kids, teens, and young adults enjoying the rides, even with the Covid rules and processes in place. The Park closed at 8PM during our stay and quiet was experienced thereafter. As campers, we were offered discounted passes to the park. No, we didn't partake, but were here to visit a brother and his family at their home 3 miles from the park. A conveniently located RV Park for us.Future campers will be able to experience the new Utah State Liquor Store, currently under construction, a few hundred yards up the road. Yay!! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Just enough time for our kids to get a solid 6 hours in the Lagoon amusement park. The park does butt right up next to the amusement park farm animals and there is a strong farm animal smell. Also, you're going to hear amusement park nose most of the day; we expected that so not an issue. We did have an issue with the checkin staff. Upon arrival, we determined that we needed overflow parking, and the lady that checked us in told us no problem and that they had a designated overflow parking area so that's where we parked our truck and Can-am. They also told us they would come by the rig and give us our parking tags and checkin documents. They never did, so later in the evening, I walked over to check on the truck and security threatened to tow my vehicle for parking there because I did not have a tag displayed. So I went into the front office and it took them about 10 minutes to come up with a price to charge me. If I recall it ended up being $10 plus tax. Not a huge deal, but frustrating that the checkin employee didn't set us up properly with overflow parking. There is a lot of construction in the area which makes navigating a big rig tricky.

The Lagoon campground is not somewhere we would camp if we were not going to Lagoon. That being said it was really convenient to camp there and hit the park.To me, the best value is if you have a season pass. You get a small discount on your site and then you can come and go to the park as you see fit. For example, we arrived at the campground after work and made dinner at our site. Then we headed over to the park for a little over an hour. The next day we woke up and went to the park again. At lunchtime, we returned to the trailer and made lunch and took it easy for a bit. Then later that afternoon we headed back to the park. On checkout day, we packed up and took the trailer over to the main parking lot (your campground pass will allow you to park in the main parking lot at no additional charge) and then spent more time at the park.

Staff has always been pleasant enough. It is very convenient to be able to walk next door to lagoon. We come back to camp for lunch and dinner. As far as just a camping spot I’d only give a 2 star due to lack of things to do/see and little shade. If it’s busy you are crammed in a parking lot (with dying grass) with others on top of you. If it’s not too busy it’s much more enjoyable and you can actually find a table (they are crap but they work). Again, it’s not a bad place to stay if your hitting lagoon. Makes lagoon more enjoyable in my opinion. Just plan no shade and no outside entertainment (other than lagoon).
