We had water on both sides of our camper, a deck to sit out on, and the most incredible views. There is a lot to explore in the area as well. Make sure you take a drive around to all the nearby state parks and towns. The campground owners are great people. Very friendly and helpful. I kayaked on the river, but be aware there is the "largest whirlpool in the western hemisphere" right in front of the campground! So stick to the coast and be aware of the tides (the change is dramatic!!) We will come back whenever we can camp in our favorite site again. I don't think we would fit in to most of the other sites down by the water (and they didn't have the views we were exposed to in our site). There are sites up on the hill overlooking the campground and down to the river that also have a nice view, but most are seasonal I think. Overall, this was an amazing experience for us! And we loved it...

What a great spot, the views are stunning from every site. Nice quiet place sloping down to the water. Clean and tidy, no clutter lying around. Seasonal campsites neat too.

  • One of the most peaceful and relaxing spots Downeast. Worth the drive to the easternmost city in the U.S.

They have only a few right on the water spots but the campground slopes up to most everyone has a beautiful view. We were lucky to have one to the best sites, 10A. 10A & 10B are close to each other but the angle gives you privacy. 10B has a really nice deck. The morning sunrise this time of year. Sept 1st was magical. There are Whales visible sometimes as well. We booked for a week next year for the second weekend in September when the Pirate Festival is happening in Eastport. Eastport is a great village to visit. Book the Windjammer whale watching cruise. Tons of fun.

  • Very close to Passamaquoddy bay. Quiet. Good WiFi.

We camped here during Covid. Bath houses were closed. We wanted a big spot for our dog so we asked for a spot in the Birches away from the water. They put is in the spot closest to the water up the hill with a great view. There are seasonals here but kept Up well. And there were a lot of people not here. We had a full hookup spot. Enjoyed kayaking. Shackford Head state park near by. Lubec Maine an hour away. Too bad New Brunswick and Campobello island closed. Verizon was on extended network. Got text and calls. The WiFi here was very good. Will come back.

Seaview campground is right on the ocean. We saw whales no more than 50 yards from us and we were right outside our camper. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Very friendly people. Definitely worth the drive east.
