We took a chance on a Thursday night mid-August without a reservation for a stay and got a spot with a lake view, shade, water and electric. Several other spots without views were also an option. Easy check-in with site selection allowed. Vast majority of campers were seasonal and their rigs/sites showed it. Dusty roads and lots of ATVs through the day. Busy place in general with large family/ friend groups gathering, dogs left to bark and little privacy. Though after 10 pm it was quiet. We enjoyed a swim in the lake on the hot afternoon in pretty clean and comfortable temp water with bald eagles soaring overhead. Facilities all open, pool, bathrooms, hot showers (coin op), and laundry all relatively clean but a bit dated. Signs were up and hand sanitizer stations present for Covid, but no mask wearing indoors or in tight quarters where distancing difficult by anyone we encountered. There was availability through the weekend, but due to the close quarters, busyness and dust, it was not an inviting environment for us. The place got more and more (over)crowded with the weekenders as we checked out Friday! Would stay again on a weekday passing through.
