We have felt welcomed since the first day here. The staff is all friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. It’s a brand new rv park and they have hit all the right marks. Amazing WiFi, super clean laundromat, and full hook ups. We will definitely be back to visit. Located just outside Baton Rouge, with lots of great food and grocery store options just down the road. We will be back here anytime we are in the area for work or play.

  • Poorly designed park with dishonest owners.

Would rate lower if possible. We paid over the phone prior to making the 300mi trip to the park. Upon arrival, the found the entire park still under construction. We could not pull into our spot, and when we tried, we sank nearly to the axle as the ground was not compacted. When we tried to pull out, one of our RVs outriggers struck ground and damaged it. We pulled further down to another pad site, and same thing. We could not even get our RV positioned correctly due to this. A gentlemen (partial owner) came over to assist, and admitted that not only was the spot too tight for our RV, though we were told over the phone it could accommodate it plus both of our vehicles, but the mud prevented us from being able to park at our site. The park does not drain correctly, and moisture will always flow to the drain tiles that they placed in between the concrete pads. We paid for a full month in advance. We pulled out after 3 days. When we contacted the Austin, he told us no refunds and hung up the phone on us. I texted him back, and he then proceeded to tell us that he has signs all over their office that state no refunds. We paid over the phone from Alabama, pretty hard to see those signs from 300 miles away. He replied sorry, that's the rules. Please, do yourself a favor and do not stay at Tiger River. Not only is the park a mud pit, but they also charge much more than many other surrounding parks do, and the fact that we paid for a month and did not receive any refund after staying only 3 nights surely shows the character of the people you are paying your money to. Like yours, my money is good anywhere, and I'm very glad we relocated our RV to a nicer, safer, quieter, much more dry and cheaper RV park.
