However, the area in which this RV park is in is less than desirable. Trash and debris litter the roadways on the main road leading to their campground giving the area the park sits in a 3rd world feel. Now to be fair, we had much of the same feelings regarding most of New Orleans. This evening we heard engines revving and racing well past midnight. That was annoying but then the finale came as multiple bursts of semi automatic gunfire occurred over a 30 minute period of time. Not being from the area, it was close enough and alarming enough that my wife had a panic attack and I ended up calling 911. The officer was quick to tell me that there is illegal drag racing which occurs in the are of the RV park and that they were going to investigate. Once again, not the fault of the super nice RV park owners, but definitely something that I would have considered before booking my stay.

The park is a bit cramped as the previous review states however, our 33ft class A was not difficult with a bit of planning and the help of Marla, the owner. The park is fully fenced with the exception of the rear fence that was damaged in the recent tornados (2017). Accommodating to pets, our 60lb black lab was welcomed and a small dog walking area is set aside to spite having nearly every square inch of the property occupied. Marla rescues stray cats and there are a few that will make friends if you let them. It was nice to relax in the pavilion and have a furry companion. Marla ran the shuttle as well, which is less a "shuttle" and more her driving you and a few others in her mini-van into the easternmost section of the French Quarter but she does so with an arranged time and will even set up a meeting spot to rescue you. The WiFi is decent, however this is not the spot to stay in at, it is a spot to sleep and recharge at after exploring. Do not expect to find vast, paved plots with complimentary water features, this is fifteen minutes from downtown with full hook ups and a comfy hot tub.Access- the right turn required to enter the park will require the use of both lanes of the two lane road its on for the larger rigs, especially with a toad.Location- You're ten minutes from downtown... any better and you would be there.Cleanliness- The tornado kind of messed things up for us Site Quality- Grass with threaded sewer hookup and 50amp serviceNoise - You are directly next to a trainyard

It's basically a parking lot with one road down the middle and everyone parked very close together on each side of the road. Big rigs may have a problem maneuvering if everyone is back with their cars parked. But, there is a pool and a hot tub. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. The laundry has old machines, but they work fine and cost $1.50 each per load. The park is closed up with a gate at night. They also have a shuttle to and from the French Quarter at various time during the day (Mon-Sat) that costs $5 per person each way. The wifi is typical and works better with less traffic (such as early in the morning). There seem to be a few of these small RV parks along this road, and this one was the busier than others.
