Right off I-10, security gate, quiet park but definitely highway noise. There’s a supermarket about 3/4 mile down the road (there’s a McDonalds on this property but we prefer cooking our own meals). The price was a little high compared to other similar parks, but it was exactly half way between Galveston and NOLA, so it worked for us.
Tricky entrance

Very nice park, very secure. Owner also has the Shell station. Drive ENTRANCE is just after the off ramp feom 1-10. Google Earth doesn’t show the street view is an EXIT ONLY. Turn in before the gas pumps. Nice staff. Clean park. Interstate noise not too bad.
Clean, Quiet, Secure. Good for an overnight stop.

Heading west from New Orleans we needed a place to overnight after suffering through 70 miles of bone-jarring Louisiana road (under construction). Cypress Bend proved to be a good spot. The park is secured with a gate and although the concrete pads are close together almost all are pull-throughs and level. Easy in and out. Really nice coin laundry with 8 washers and 8 dryers. A few permanent residents and rentals, but mostly RV spots. A dog-washing station is at the back of the park and a McDonald's/QuikMart and Shell Station are part of the complex and operated by the same owner apparently. 10 percent discount for Good Sam members. We were in the first space left of the entrance on a Sunday night (the park was full) and thought we might be bothered by cars coming in the gate after hours, but cars coming in were too quiet to wake us up. The park overall was very quiet. We appreciated the McDonald's being within walking distance for coffee in the morning before heading out.The tricky part is finding the park entrance, which is an immediate hard right after the eastbound exit ramp off of Interstate 10, behind the Shell Station. The entrance is marked with a 4 ft. by 6 ft. red and white sign with an arrow (pointing to the green chain link gate) that is overshadowed by the McDonald's and Shell signs. We missed it the first time and had to circle back. Note that if you plan to unhitch to get gas or groceries (a Market Basket supermarket is 2 blocks south on Thompson Avenue) you will pay a $20 deposit for a key card to get you back in the gate, but the deposit is refunded when you return it. If there is no one in the office when you need to turn in your card a call to the phone number listed on the office door brings someone running from the McDonald's with your $20.
