There were several private bathroom/shower rooms but I was glad I didn't need to use it. It definitely could use updating. Very close to a Love's, we thought the truck noise might be bothersome. It quieted down and did not disturb our sleep. However, the truck noise did wake us around 6:30 AM.They ladies in the office were very nice and recommended restaurants in the area. They said we were here at crawfish season, a big deal around here. So we chose to try Cajun Claws, very close to the campground. We were not disappointed.

Free WiFi but only for tablet or phone, doesn’t work for TV. Kept shutting off when using it on my phone. Thought it was very pricy for February. Just stopped in a RV resort, last night , ocean front, on a wide cement pad for 28.00 a night. This RV park has noisy truck/ semi traffic on I10 Al light long, next door truck stop gas station. And a train nearby … which was actually kind of nice sounding, but might bother some people. Park is Hidden behind a motel 8. Pull through sites long enough for RV and toad

No cookies given out this time (maybe still due to Covid? I didn’t ask). Led to site by employee. Another change was we were given a page with nearby restaurants and local stores in the area, which is a nice touch. We often stay here when going east or west on I-10.

Very friendly people, very accommodating when we arrived. Restrooms and showers very clean and air conditioned. Convenient to Lafayette area attractions. Seem to be a good stop off point for rv’ers going east or west on I-10. Would stay again. Good basic cable but the internet was not working while we were there.

Only spent night, no noise from freeway and little from railroad. When turning off from freeway turn onto frontage road. GPS says turn on Durant Rd or something like that But just take first frontage rd. To right.

There is just a small strip of grass between sites so you are pretty close to your neighbors. Our site was decently level, and they all looked about the same. WII FI was very slow so we used our hot spots. Verizon was 4g 3 bars and Directv worked fine. They also have cable but we didn’t try it. You can hear some highway noise as there is only a gas station between the park and highway. The trains whistles, on the other hand, are nearby and loud! The park is not in a pretty area as it is tucked behind a Super 8 and next to a Roady’s gas station with very bright lights. We found it expensive for what you get.

One end of the park is adjacent to the backside of a Super 8, but there are trees in the other two directions. We were impressed that they spaced the overnighters like ourselves out in every other site (leaving an empty between). We've been to so many places where they cram you together for no reason, but not here. The place is clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the staff's friendliness and you get cookies and dog treats at check-in.We really enjoyed the saltwater pool. It was very clean and quite refreshing on a hot summer day. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived after hours; all paperwork was waiting for us, map, site location, wifi instructions, etc. There are some long term campers on site for the local work force. Although there was some road noise from the highway, this was a quiet campground. When making reservations, staff personnel mentioned that there is security on site and local police occasionally patrol. We saw no security personnel, except for the campground staff and the hi-tech video surveillance in the office building. At no point during our stay did we feel unsafe.Office staff and maintenance staff were friendly. Propane is available on site. Diesel and gasoline is available at nearby stations. This campground offers discounts for Goodsam and Escapees members.

I suspect if you were after 4:00, an envelope would be on the door with your site information. Regardless, check-in was friendly and speedy. We were escorted to our site. Verizon signal was good. The cable TV didn't have local channels, but had enough to keep us entertained. The RV Park is tucked in behind a truck stop and a hotel, but that was fine by us. We felt safe, the road noise wasn't bad. If we were to pass this way again, we would definitely stop again.
