The manager guided us to the site and helped us position for best access to the utilities. The site was gravel and was level side to side. The sites are close to each other with little cover but that doesn’t matter as this is likely to be just an overnight stop for most. One of the few campgrounds I have encountered with excellent free Wi-Fi. Antenna reception is good for NBC and PBS. Cell service is 2 bars LTE. They have a fire ring at each site. There is a bathhouse with laundry and showers which are clean. Everything is in walking distance. This campground is best for a visit to the National Quilt Museum.

Great spot for an overnight, the host greeted us and assisted with backing in. We had a nice spot under a huge oak tree on the lake. Very clean & the grounds were well kept, tidy & very nice. Super clean showers & bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

Good overnight stop.

We liked this campground even though we were in a less attractive part because we were only here one night. We visited the town of Paducah and found it very charming. Must see the wall of murals! Manager of park was very helpful with tourist spot info and road conditions.

This was a well kept campground. Easy to access with our camper, clean and very quiet. The lake is pretty and there is a field, lots of places to walk your dogs. Very little shade/trees in gravel parking area but would definitely camp here again.

Sites typically are filled so that no one has to unhook and can also leave easily the next morning. Despite proximity to interstate, the campground is very quiet. It is surrounded by rows of evergreens that screen out sound and sight, making it a restful place to stay. There also are several old oak trees within the campground that also contribute to the setting. We were led to our campsite by the very friendly and helpful owner who chatted with us for several minutes after we had set-up. We did not use the bath house during our stay, only the available 50-amp service. I would not hesitate to stay here again, whether overnight, or longer.
