Bathrooms and showers were clean and bright. There is a small playground for the kids and a pond with a couple of Canada Geese and their fledglings. Close to anything you’d need. Did not notice any road noise, despite proximity to a main road. I’d definitely staay again.

I was running late and called the office again, and again super friendly and helpful. We stayed near the rear of the campground our picnic table was in need of replacement but we weren’t using it anyway so it didn’t matter. My son played on the playground that was directly behind our site and had fun. We felt safe and didn’t notice any noise even though we were right off the interstate. Our spot was slightly off level but just enough for water drainage. Some campgrounds are destination and some are stopovers. This is an excellent stopover camp, I would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad park but not a great one either. The area were we camped seemed run down. Not bad for an overnight but a little on the expensive side.

Was told by the staff a story that just didn't jive, not the least of which that the "gal who supposed to call back hadn't been in the office" yet - and it was 5:00pm when we checked in. But the most off-putting was their large, hand-painted sign at entry "Friends of NRA". I don't care about people's convictions, just not the welcoming "Hello" we've come to know in our travels. Probably worth staying in the Walmart parking lot a mile away. Clean, sites relatively close together, and lots of very large rigs. No particular amenities. Bathrooms decent. Pretty little pond and nice cabins for those not traveling in RV. Just unnerving. Too bad there Campendium doesn't rate hospitality.

I had to call a couple times as they did not answer a message as they said they would. The office is open 7 am – 7 pm. After that it is self check in and report in the morning. Credit cards accepted. They only have 50 amp so a dogbone (or pigtail as she called it) is required. Otherwise it is full hookups at every site. The site was very level and I didn’t even have to unhook (just a couple Anderson levelers to accommodate for my hitch height). No real amenities but it is reasonably close to St. Louis (77 miles) so is a nice stopover on the way. The sites are close but since availability is good you can pick a place with some separation. Only PBS on antenna. Cell coverage is fair but reasonable data speeds. Wifi didn't work for me.

About 50 miles outside busy St. Louis right off of I64. Easy access to gravel level pull thru sites. Most sites are 50 amps, however the owner can provide a pigtail if needed. Sewage available, however the water was secured to my site. Park is clean and well kept. Spacious clean restrooms with hot showers.

I wouldn’t consider this a “destination” campground for extended stays or vacation, but it is perfect for jumping off the interstate and having a quiet, restful stop. 50a full hookup pull throughs, WIFI, laundry, large fenced dog park, friendly staff. And everything is clean.

Called ahead and they kindly gave us late check in instructions and also allowed us to just do drop box pay since We left before the office opened In the morning. That’s trust! They also had a 50 amp adapter for us since we only have a 30 amp power plug.We loved the dog park on the property with several friendly pups for our girl to play with after a long day cooped up in the car. Also loved several restaurants within walking distance with takeout options during COVID—and the walk ability was nice since we did not unhitch for an overnight stop. Sushi across the street was great!Easy in, easy out — and easy in / out at the Starbucks down the street before a long drive the next day!All sites except a few were pull through and level — we did not have to unhitch. Seems most people there were stopping over for a night or two as well.

Quiet park even though it's located near great shopping and a couple of truck stops.

Helped me get propane immediately so I could pay for it and my site in the same transaction. She’s friendly, funny and kind, and really on the ball. If I owned a business with employees, I’d hire her to train them for customer service! As stated in other reviews, the sites aren’t intended for long term beauty stays but for a nice overnight on your way. However, I wouldn’t have hesitated to stay here one more night if I weren’t trying to stay out in front of a winter storm. It’s a pretty park, the amenities are fantastic, it’s quiet even though close to the road, and I felt safe. The welcome center really is that, with lots of wood giving you the feeling of being in a ski lodge. Warm, comfortable and containing the office; a lounge; laundry room with $1.50 wash and $1.00 dry on six clean, modern, well-maintained machines; a large meeting room with lots of tables and seating, where morning coffee is served; and two very large unisex bathroom suites, each with two toilets, sinks and showers. The latter are new and very nicely appointed, with all the hot water you could want. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to!

We had a pull through site with sewer, water, electric that was large enough for us to not unhook our tow dolly and car. Very good wifi was also provided. The park is quiet at night and located close to several delivery restaurants. We had food delivered, and a good night's sleep before getting back on the road. Sites are very close together, this is the not the type of place you camp in to enjoy privacy and natural surroundings. This is a great one night stopping point for weary travelers. She knew what time we were arriving and it was pouring down rain. She saw us coming in on the road and ran out to meet us so we didn't have to get out and get wet ourselves! Wow, what a reception. So she pointed out what site we had, which was so easy to enter on this rainy day.The only tip to make it better is for the Office Manager and the Owner to have a little better communication. We had a relative make our appointment in person since there was an issue initially in calling them for the reservation. Their telephone numbers had changed. Our relative was given one price and she gave us another price. It was only off a few dollars but it's not a good business practice. We planned to stay 10 days, but they only had us down for 7 so we had a scare that we would have to move.....but since we paid for the full 10 days, it was hard to make us move. The great reception made up for any of these issues.....The best thing about the location was the GREAT wifi!!! Now granted, it is relatively small, but no matter, the Owner said he knew today's travelers need strong wifi more than lots of TV stations. Other than a few misunderstandings, there really isn't anything negative to report. We did not use any facilities but could see the office area was kept immaculate and the sites were well maintained.
