In speaking with Chris, the manager, he mentioned that we had just hit the right weekend for the weekend prior was booked and the upcoming weekend is heading that way. We felt we had the place to ourselves. It was great. The campground was very spacious with plenty of open space. Chris was a great help in providing us with information on the area, places to go, and directed us to a great mountain bike trail, Maple Creek. We did use the private showers and they were large and clean.Thank you so much Chris for your time and your commitment to horses, the campers, and the youth.God Bless,Doug and Robin Wagner

Convenient location for the national Park. Mostly horse camp (it’s in the name), but we were able to secure an electric site on a Saturday with short notice. Very friendly and helpful front office. Only 1 bar of service so would not recommend for any remote workers.
Clean, Quiet Stay!

It is a little off the beaten path but you are only 8 miles away from Mammoth Caves National Park Visitor Center. The RV Park has direct access into the trails into Mammoth National Park. The bathrooms and showers are clean. There is also a place to do laundry, $2 a wash $1 a dry. The only negative thing I could say is this is a horse ...moreIt is a little off the beaten path but you are only 8 miles away from Mammoth Caves National Park Visitor Center. The RV Park has direct access into the trails into Mammoth National Park. The bathrooms and showers are clean. There is also a place to do laundry, $2 a wash $1 a dry. The only negative thing I could say is this is a horse camp so there is horse poop all around. Otherwise great place to camp.
