This would be a good overnight stop for anyone on US-50. I stayed 3 nights because I was in the area to do research for a book. It was the last week in October, and I was the only camper there for all 3 nights. The owner told me that her clientele is mostly overnighters, and the season was effectively over by then. I got 50% off with Passport America (paid $15). It's a basic grass campground with back-in sites and full hookups. The owner was very friendly, and even gave me some home-made soap. There is a highway rest stop next door, with trucks idling at times. The only negative was the laundry room. The washers and driers were clean, but the room was rather tatty and there were construction materials stored in the showers. Aside from that, it was good.
