This was a wonderful stop. Level gravel site. Plenty of space. Loved the laundry! New machines, super clean and they had a change machine. Had a wonderful room attached with TVs, tables and bending machine. The camp store was one of the best I’ve seen.

  • Quiet, clean, upscale amenities, spacious, wonderful owners

Owners were so kind and very accomodating when we needed to stay an additional night due to truck problems. Rv park is new and they are adding more amenities. Everything was so well kept, beautifully manicured, and spotless. The gym was well equipped with a variety of cardio machines and weights. The area was well lit at night but not obnoxious. One of our favorite campground so far. Only small complaint is that due to tremendous rain, the gravel roads were muddy.

Great location if you are passing through on I-70. Just far enough off the HWY you do not hear the noise from the interstate.

  • Great for an overnight stopover

If you do, site 47 would be my choice for the best location on the property.I didn't use their WiFi since my AT&T router was getting 28M down / 3M up.

Hays is a small town that is still growing! Park has Gravel roads and sites, perhaps 50 sites and building more! No creek, just a small pond surrounded by lawn with goat heads in the grass. (Watch for your dogs feet).

Their sites are large, level, and we didn’t have to unhook, which was pretty convenient. Sites are FHU and offer more spacing than most commercial parks, so we enjoyed some privacy and plenty of peace and quiet. Our utilities were easy to reach and worked perfectly during our stay, and while we didn’t use their WiFi, our Verizon worked very well without the booster. There is a small dog park and more than enough room to walk a dog (though we did manage to pick-up a bunch of goatheads when we walked over to see the pond). There is a shower house, bathrooms, and laundry, but we didn’t use any of these. I booked our site online, and when we arrived a CG map was waiting for us taped to the office door, making it all pretty easy.

Clean sites and very spacious. The only complaint I have is that they didn’t have a very big office and only 2 showers

It is close to the highway but far enough that you don't hear it. The town of Hays 7 min away has a bunch of restaurant options if you don't want to cook. The RV park had a nice small playground for the kids with a clean dog run right next to it. The park was safe, very clean and well maintained. The full hookup sites are roomy and many are pull throughs. Plenty big for our 40' & tow jeep. We called the same day both times and got a spot, the same woman helped us on the phone each time and she was super nice. We arrived late and she told us our nunber ajead of time and sent us email with info. Highly recommend if you're in need of a place to stop for the night or longer.

They didn’t tell me the condition of the campground. When we got there we found that they do not have paved roads. We had to drive through deep mud instead of roads. The camp site was traveled over the deep mud. Pulling the motorhome onto the site, we immediately sank into the gravel. I didn’t dare drop the leveling jacks or they would have been lost into the mud. Ok, I would have appreciated a heads up about their not ready for customers when I talked to them.My biggest complaint is that Aaron said he would give me a refund when I contacted them about the conditions. On several occasions he said that he had refunded us when they actually didn’t. It’s been over a month since we should have seen a refund. Instead, I just get lies from Aaron.DO NOT STAY AT THIS CAMPSITE EVEN IF THEY FINALLY GET IT READY. I DON’T TRUST ANYONE THAT LIES OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

It is easy on and off the interstate, but about a mile away from the interstate so you don't hear the highway noise. The sites are super long and easy to get in and out. Like others said, this is a new park so there is not a lot of landscaping yet, but you can see they are working on that. I was thankful they were open in January since several RV parks along I-70 in Kansas were either closed for the season or did not have running water. We needed water since our water pump was not working. I also appreciated that they did not charge extra for our 2 kids. We try to avoid parks that charge extra for kids, so kudos to this park for being family-friendly.
