The park was easy to find and the signage adequate. We called ahead to find out if they were open and if they had room. Be aware, this took place during the COVID 19 pandemic. Many parks were still closed for the season and some closed because of the pandemic. We were told that we were welcome as long as we had no contact with anyone in the park. We readily agreed as we had self quarantined because we were on our way to cross back into Canada. Payment was made by cash in an envelope stuffed into their mail box. Our site was to be a back in but upon our arrival the owner yelled for us to just park in front of the site so we would not have to disconnect our tow. The utilities are located at the front which normally would not be so convenient. For us it was a boon. The park is right on a fairly busy roadway. There are railway tracks in the distance but our stay was quiet at night and not too noisy during the day. Having said that, we did not spend much time out doors. There is no internet nor public washrooms. You must be self contained. I’m not sure we would have entertained staying at this park under normal circumstance but I am glad we did. The sites are quite close and some are under some very large shade trees. I think the park is overpriced for what there is but the level of service we were provided with far outweighed the negatives. We paid $35.00 to stay comfortably and we would happily return if in the area again.
