(QUICK NOTE - I can’t recall the actual price - but it was somewhere between $35-45-ish)This was probably the MOST beautiful RV park we’ve stopped at during this trip. I mean, look at the pics. STUNNING! It almost feels like a movie set. This is a smaller park - basically one long road with slots on each side. There appear to be some longer-stay (Not permanent resident) sites with little A-frames you can park next to so you can sit outside your rig and enjoy the lovely view. Since we were just one-nighters, we got the 2nd row spots - all back-in gravel. Some likely have picnic benches (I think?) on the strip of grass. Ours didn’t - we pulled out our folding chairs and found a more level spot on the grass to hang out with the mosquitoes as the sun set. Very short walk to the scenic Ohio River bank with a classic, steep wooden staircases leading down to a short dock, like something right out of an movie set in a previous era.My only complaint here is that once we pulled up (no reservations, per usual!), I found the building labeled “office”, but couldn’t find the actual office door... and no one was inside, anyway. AND there were no signs indicating a phone number or after-hours check-in information. Luckily, I was able to look up the phone number and the owner (I assume?) answered -He told us which spaces we could choose from and said he’d come by in a bit to deal with payment. It all worked out just fine - but it would have been nice if there’d been more info at the front telling you what to do. I’m sure many of their guests aren’t as internet savvy as we are and may have just turned around and went somewhere else - which is a shame because this is a lovely park. (I’d also love to see more parks taking online payments!! Even if it’s after pulling into a space. Leave a Chalk/whiteboard or flyers at the office with empty spaces as of closing And payment/WiFi info, park rules, etc - late-comers can pick from what’s left and pay online from their chosen space. Just an idea! It’s crazy to me that no one seems to do this!I can’t comment on the amenities as we didn’t use any of them... but it looks like the main building was recently renovated and the site overall seemed well cared for.Site was quiet - no crazy neighbors or anything to be wary of. All in all a very nice place we’d love to visit again someday.Anyway - if you’re looking for amazing views - THIS IS THE PLACE!
