The pool opened April 29, and no it's not heated, but it's nice for some short laps or to cool off. We also enjoy swimming in the lakes off the rocky area by the picnic tables. Wifi is strong enough for non-video work activities and we were able to download some shows as well. We love the location on the lake, proximity to downtown, restaurants and nature (greenway trail, Long Hunter State park, kayaking). This is the second time we've stayed here, first time was under the Safe Harbor name and prior ownership.

When I emailed the manager to ask about the pool details before my arrival, he never bothered to respond. I feel that he should have as I was spending over $1,400 in his campground. Oh well, they had their money; what do they really care? For the price that we paid, I would have expected our campsite to be cleaned. It wasn't. I picked up plastic garbage left in our site, as well as more plastic and metal that was tossed into the fire-pit. Really? And only $101 a night; lol. Ladies in the office were friendly and helpful, no issues at all!Standard free wifi was fine for everything we needed. I even downloaded a few shows after 10 pm when there was less pressure on the system, no issues! All utilities worked as expected, so all good here as well.Great site views, easy access to Nashville and only a few miles to a pretty decent grocery store, all good!

Mixed with a lack of amenities, ridiculous prices (and we weren’t even in the “deluxe” sites!) and no real culture or vibe made for a disappointing stay in spite of the alluring setting. On a constructive criticism note, they also allow far too many vehicles in - many spots had tow vehicles plus a daily driver in the tight spots and narrow road - added to the sense of congestion. Similarly, we had to use the bathhouse a couple of days due to hot water heater troubles and, like the fire pits, they weren’t well cleaned out. I would expect and have seen MUCH better from other parks at these prices, to say the least. On a more positive note, in warmer months, boating on the lake would be very convenient, the campground was clean and well maintained, and it’s all an easy and quick 20 minute drive into downtown Nashville!

Clean, beautiful views, well run. We spent most of our time in Nashville (only 20 min away), and wished we had a longer stay to spend more time in the RV park as well. Cell coverage varied depending on where we were in the park. Verizon had 3 bars, AT&T and T-mobil varied between 1 and 2 bars.

A few nice swings and hammocks throughout the park too.Great Wifi.We had a great time walking around the park and checking out all the really high end rigs. I was very surprised and upset we never heard anything from the camp hosts about what to do in the event a tornado did touch down or the site did flood. There didn’t seem to be any concern for guests. Not being from the area we wouldn’t have known where to go or who to contact. In addition to the lack of host communication, the sites are very close to one another and there are some hard spots to get into. Despite the pretty setting we would not stay here again.

For our toy hauler, with the back deck open it very much felt like our own private island. We would definitely recommend the waterfront spots. The park will deliver ice and firewood to your site. The whole place is extremely well thought out and cared for. We will definitely be back.A note about the wifi - we paid $25 for a week of higher speed (30mbps) internet while we were there. Sug works on the road, and we like to stream our entertainment. After struggling with the system a lot for several days, we called the tech support (not the office - direct to the provider) and were told that the cost was for a single device. As you might imagine, the lack of transparency in reporting that this cost is PER DEVICE was very disappointing. Had we known, it would have saved a lot of trouble and back and forth with being knocked off. We still would have purchased, but likely used for work purposes and not for high speed entertainment. We called the office to let them know about the miscommunication and suggest that they add the note that this is PER DEVICE to the sign on website, but they never called us back.

Great WiFi. We didn’t use our hot spot the entire time ????It’s a bit of a drive into the city. And the biggest con was that our site wasn’t clean when we arrived and had all kinds of landscaping materials in our ‘yard’. While the facilities and amenities at this resort were very well kept and nice, the sites are so, so narrow and you're sardined in with absolutely no privacy. It took many tries to back in our 30' trailer and we held up a line of cars who were waiting to pass... The pads are concrete with fire rings and picnic tables. They also have a day use patio area and a pool. Free wifi is also available, but we kept having issues with the password getting changed and/or just not being able to connect to it... It is 15 minutes from downtown Nashville without traffic and 30 minutes from downtown with traffic. This park is quiet and the setting is lovely. Considering the other park options around Nashville, we felt this was the best option in the area. Even so, the sites are close together, not unbearable, but close. Some of the sites on the tip of the peninsula have a lot more space between sites. There is a playground, pool, fishing dock and laundry facility. Propane is coming soon. As this is a new park, they are still getting their bearings. It can be hard to reach staff in the office or via phone. They do not regulate the laundry room yet, so campers are washing their dog beds in the washers. This is a gated park and it is back from the street, so it is pretty quiet, except for occasional music from the marina across the water. This is a fantastic place to bring your kayak and there is a boat dock. The interior road is narrow on the peninsula loop. We had no trouble making the turn in a 38 foot fifth wheel, and there were 40+ foot motorhomes that did it as well...but fyi, there is that one tight turn. They also sell wood here. Each site is fitted with a concrete pad, picnic table and fire pit. All sites have full hookups. If you can be on the water, do it! We were not able to get a waterfront site, but would do it in a heartbeat if there was availability. The views are lovely. The only negative we had was that they have many longterm dwellers there, but they are now restricting stays to no longer than 4 weeks. I believe they were trying to fill the spots when they first opened. Normally, long term dwellers do not bother me in a nice park...but none of them here were friendly....they were all sort of cranky with an odd camping vibe. It was truly strange. The park was full every night we were there and recreational campers starting filling the campground and the "feel" of the park greatly improved. This is a fantastic option for camping in this area if you don't mind being close to your neighbors....just make sure you allocate time to enjoy the lake.
