The folks at LMV have set the bar very high, since this was our first time out in our new 5er. The owner, Ron, was very kind and accommodating. Staff (Josie) was friendly. Quiet campground, even though it was packed. Kids playing were very respectful-and it was great seeing kids playing outdoors! Beautiful trails around Lake Monroe. Close to gas station/convenience mart and cigar shop. ☺️ All the amenities are clean and in working-order. Other guests were friendly as well. We will definitely be coming back!

This was a very nice RV Park and the owners were very friendly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought they were expensive compared to other comparable RV parks we’ve been to. They also seemed to have a lot of expensive add-ons for everything (eg. it cost $10 for a person to visit for the day, $15/day for an extra vehicle, etc.). We ran into a glitch with their online reservation system so be sure to call and speak with someone and don’t depend completely on their online system. The issue somehow that let me reserve a site even though they had none available. They were very apologetic and found a water/electric only spot on the grass for us (we reserved full hook-ups). The park was kept clean and neat and we enjoyed our stay there. In the end it all worked out fine.
