We had a personal emergency and they gave us a spot to store the rig and second car for a week and a crazy low price. On the other hand, we’ve never met more unfriendly campers. This park is mostly extended stay and locals. We’ve been full time RV living for 2 years and travel around and were shocked at how unpleasant most of the campers were. The first day there 2 separate people “scolded” us over things we weren’t doing wrong but they had to make sure we knew camping etiquette. We found the site very tight for a 45 ft 5th wheel. No problems getting in and out but our rig just fit end to end. It’s a super sweet, old school campground. We both work full time from the rig and had no issues with cell or WiFi. Excellent restaurant maybe 2 miles away and right on the lake. We just won’t go back because we didn’t feel welcome by the other campers. In 11 days of walking our dog we weren’t able to strike up a conversation with anyone.
Pretty Campground, Fantastic Service

The roads through the campground are a little tight, and there's little light if you show up after dark. But otherwise, the place is very nice and we would definitely camp here again.

We were greeted by Chris, she was very nice. Not only did she do our check in but helped with what is in the area for dinner and shopping. Amazing customer service. Water pressure is good 60 PSI. Sprint FMCA MiFi blazing fast 53Mbps down and 27Mbps up. Verizon also blazing fast 92Mbps on my phone. Power was good 50 Amp 118 and 123 volts. Campsite was fairly level, my 40 foot coach was off my 4.5 inches. Had a nice pool but didn't use as we are just here for the one night. Really nice park will stay again.
Awful - Rundown - Rude Management - Unorganized Staff - Zero Customer Service - Too Expensive

We were heading back to NC from AL and booked a night at Anderson-Hartwell KOA for a stop over. After booking, we decided to add an extra day just to rest and work remotely. We called the office 2 days in advance to add an extra day. They didn't have our deluxe patio site for 2 days, so the lady downgraded me to a regular site. Received confirmation for both days as well as payment confirmation. We arrived after hours and proceeded to our assigned site. Our camper and truck wouldn't fit, so we had to park the truck sideways. The next morning we noticed the campground was somewhat vacant. We were the only camper in the area except for a few full timers behind us. Around lunchtime, the owner approached me (mask-less) on her golf cart at my site and blasted me about never checking in. However, I was already charged and provided my packet which didn't mention physically checking in as well. She then proceeded to blast me about not having the current site for the upcoming evening. I had to explain to her that her staff member moved us to a regular site since we needed 2 days. The staff member failed to update the records. I went down to the office to try to clear things up and show them my email confirmations. They quickly discounted me and said they figured it out, but no apologies for the abrupt attack. They stated they would credit my account for the deluxe charge since we were assigned a regular site (I had to call twice to get this resolved). A short bit later, I was watching my son enjoy the beautiful day and see someone talking to him. My 11 year old son walks over to me and is visibly shaken and says 4 men (2 yellow shirt staff , 2 campers) yelled at him and made him get off his little electric battery operated scooter. They asked him to step away from it and that motorized vehicles are not allowed. They told he'd have to walk back to his camper. We have been to many many many KOAs and campgrounds and this was the first I had heard of scooters being banned. We always have 3 scooters when we travel. My husband is perturbed and rides his electric scooter over to the 4 men and inquired about the scooter issue. They proceeded to say only adults can ride scooters and he'd have to talk to the owner. He went into the office and the owner seemed to have no issue when discussing. Since there wasn't much to do, our son and I rod our scooters together. The owner rolls over on her golf cart and says "if your son is going to ride his scooter, he has to ride under 5 mph". What in the world! It's a little razor 100 electric scooter for little kids. It's quiet and small. There are no gauges for miles per hour. Additionally, there wasn't a camper or person in site. The place was a ghost town. We ditched the scooters and pulled out our mountain bikes (they can go fast). We exited the campground and enjoyed the day while the hubby finished up some work. We noticed that the putt-putt area was is disarray and had a collection of paint cans and junk around it. Due to Covid, the jumping pad was closed. The pool area was really dirty and required bringing your own chairs. The entrance is the owner's pitiful trailer home with more junk sitting around the barrier. Very rundown and dirty (see photos). Another discouraging experience, the full timers tend to help themselves to empty campsite patios which was a bit uncomfortable as originally we thought some homeless folks had just wandered up (see photos). Overall, in the 4 years we have been camping and over 30 campgrounds visited, this was the worst experience. It seemed like the owner had some type of "power trip" and enjoyed yelling at customers and their family for no apparent reasons. I'm sharing this experience to encourage others to look elsewhere for a campsite. This was so disappointing.
Nice park, A lot of activities.

Mini golf was open and small children play area. Pool not open for the season. Small camp shop & gifts.Owner was very friendly and drove us to our spot. Would have helped us level and unhitch if we needed.
