This campground is about 10-15 min from I-80 around the Starved Rock. So if you’re just passing through you may want to find something closer. There is no cell service at all. However - it was REALLY PRETTY and well maintained. There is a nice office/grocery. There is a sweet creek running through it. We paid for the premium site - which we believe is the only one with full hookups. If you get this site, it is just before the office. We drove right past it! Also, it was secluded from the other parts of the campground so it was quiet. We noticed the other areas were a little noisier but it may have just been a very happy group. The other sites we saw seemed spacious and had water and electric. We will stay again as we travel across I-80. For us, it was worth the trek.
