We were lucky lots of empty sites on either side of us on a Saturday night but not across the road or behind us up on the hill. Sites across from us are double pull-thrus? Sites in other sections (#s 75 and higher) have more space between and most sites could accommodate large rigs. Tents are welcome and were mostly in the back of the park. Sour sire was fairly level.Lots of big shade trees, showers (didn’t use), and a pool that was still covered up. Laundry too but only open 9-5 (didn’t use or see inside) It worked for us as an overnight to see Galena. Others were here with large groups and lots of kids enjoying themselves on Father’s Day weekend post-COVId.Easy access, quick check-in, and free WiFi that actually worked for emails, online (we don’t stream).

Bathrooms/showers are large & nice. Sites have a narrow strip of crushed rock. Saw a pool (we don’t use) so I imagine that’s why the price is high. Ordinarily I wouldn’t pay 36.00 but the location was the best we could find with the flooding. It’s quiet.

We were in the RV electric only section. There were only 1 or 2 others in that area the nights we were there. The bathhouse was dated but it was heated and had lots of stalls and showers. The location can’t be beat: walking distance to Walmart if you are looking for exercise and 5 mins. drive to downtown Galena. This was a great stay for our visit to historic Galena.
