I compared the park to two others near St. Louis on the Illinois side and found this one to be the most pleasant. Most of the sites are sunny, but some have shade. The park streets are asphalt, but the sites are gravel. The park is quiet. Gave it 4 stars for cleanliness due to the gravel sites. Otherwise, the park was clean.Stayed in campsite #34 which has plenty of shade. It was a gravel back-in site with enough parking for my TT and truck with plenty of grass on either side. The site included: picnic table on a concrete patio, fire ring, and small trees. Utilities were located closer to the front of the site: 20A/30A/50A electric water, sewer. Site was pretty level. Awning faced east so we didnt get the evening sun shining underneath, but a tree prevented me from opening the awning. It didnt matter because there was plenty of shade in the evening, but not much in the middle of the day. Nearest neighbor was close.AT&T had 2 bars of 5G and Verizon 3 bars of LTE service. AT&T Speedtest 49.7 Mbps down, 3.35 Mbps up. Could not access the WiFi even though the password was on the info sheet.Would stay here again. We camped at Cahokia RV Parque in a Travel Trailer.

The sites are very cramped together. Lots of long term renters that park anywhere and don’t keep their sites cleaned up. Long term renters were playing loud music late into the night. Only would stay here again for the amazing BBQ restaurant they have!

We had a very hard time getting into our back-in site, and needed our neighbors to move vehicles in order to get in or out. Not much grass or area for dogs to do their business. It's less than a ten minute drive to St. Louis. Located in a very industrial area, so lots of road and train noise. BBQ restaurant next door has good reviews, although we did not try it. Unlikely that we would return.

Fine for a stop over or if you’re a contract worker in the area. Sites are very close together. In a very industrial area on a busy road but calms down after dark. Large open area to walk the dogs away from the busy road. Weird little turtle pond. Amazing BBQ restaurant on site. Nice and close if you're looking to go to the arch.

We spent a quiet night here on a roadtrip with a stop to see the gateway arch. Took us less than 10 minutes to get to the visitor center. Park had nice clean bathrooms, playground and pool perfect for family camping.

Sites are close together with full hook ups. Staff was very friendly and had a shuttle to drive you to St. Louis -very helpful. We enjoyed the pool - refreshing. The area was a concern from other comments but never felt unsafe. There was a code to get in the bathrooms and shower. Would recommend for it’s convenience.

This location was perfect for our time in STL. the pool and restaurant were a great addition especially during the summer months. Since we stayed 3 months we didn’t use the pull through sites. However they appeared to be easy to get into and out of. The biggest benefit to this Parque was its location to St. Louis. 12min or so to get to the Gateway arch, 20min to the STL Zoo. If we ever work another contract in STL or are just passing through we will definitely stay here again.

The park is in an excellent location for visiting everything in St. Louis, and they have a shuttle which makes it so much easier than driving into the city and finding parking. We received the monthly rate for our most recent stay because we chose to shelter in place there due to COVID. It was nice that they were open and welcoming. The staff is super helpful and friendly! They even delivered my packages right to my door whenever I needed to order something from Amazon. The Sawmill BBQ onsite restaurant has excellent food and service, making it very convenient when you don't feel like cooking dinner. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked well. The only drawback is some of the sites are really close together, especially the sites that back up to one another. Thankfully the park was not full when we were there, and the staff does a great job of spreading people out when that's the case so you don't feel too crowded by a neighbor. I'm also very thankful that they did not charge us extra for kids like so many RV parks do these days.

Pluses: The people are really nice, they have a shuttle you can pay to take you to the arch and other sites, nice bathrooms, good bbq joint on site, playground, full hook ups, good tv reception, good WiFi Minuses:,It’s an RV Park next to a highway, sites very close, not a place I’d pick if hanging out at the campsite is your goal.

Signage was fair. Check in was quick, efficient and informative. The name suggests something more upscale. It is not. The interior roads were rough. Our site, 41, was a back in but, since the spot behind us was vacant, we were able to drive in. The site was hard packed gravel with a small concrete patio, table and fire ring and a lot of weeds instead of grass. The utilities, 50 and 30 amp power, water and sewer were to the left side and all worked well. There is no cable but we picked up many OTA channels. Wifi worked fairly good. The site was filthy. We raked up garbage and picked up tons of cigarette butts. The campground is filled with mostly permanent residents who don’t clean up after their dogs. There is a small laundromat on site, open 24 hours. The only thing this park really has going for it is location, (access to St. Louis and it’s attractions is great) and there is an onsite BBQ restaurant. The aroma smelled wonderful but we did not have an opportunity to taste. We paid a weekly rate of $245.00. There is no Good Sam discount for a weekly rate. We don’t think the park is worth it. If we are in the area again we will probably look for something nicer.

Our dealer paid for us to stay at Cahokia for a couple of days while we became familiar with the workings of the RV. At that point, we had nothing with which we could compare. The Mississippi River was well above flood stage not too long ago. It's been wet. The campground still has standing water, some of it was around our campsite. The gravel pad needed care. The grass needed mowing. Now that we've been traveling for over 7 months we have a better understanding of the ends of the RV park continuum. Cahokia is fast moving in the wrong direction. It has a few things going for it. Location to downtown St. Louis, clean showers and a barbecue restaurant on site. But make no mistake, our site was a s**thole. They're nice folks who can do much better.

It’s a bit pricey. On top of that, they charged $6 for our son. There is a wonderful BBQ restaurant called Sawmill. Very good BBQ! The sites are gravel back-ins that are close together, and it was difficult to navigate into our space because of vehicles in the road. We had to ask someone to move their truck so we could get into our space. They must’ve had flooding recently because the west side of the campground was closed for repairs. The noise was surprisingly loud because it is right on a busy 4-lane highway. Motorcycles and trucks with Jake brakes all night and day.

The park is clean and check in was easy. We didn't use, nor check out the laundry facilities. The pool was closed. The on-site barbeque restaurant provides good food. The pad was gravel and flat. We had a full hook up site. Wi-Fi worked well enough to stream Netflix. Our neighbors were very nice and the park was relatively quiet for being so close to the city of Saint Louis. There was an eclectic assortment of vehicles in the park and some long-term residents. Driving into downtown Saint Louis was easy from here.
