It’s probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in the last 2 years while traveling full-time around the country. Great view of the river from our back window and the space was easy to back into with a 30’ fifth wheel. Lots of lush green grass between the sites and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. I never did get the WiFi to work (kept giving “not connected to internet” error) and Verizon ranged between 1 & 2 bars which was enough for me. Campground host, Jeremy, was very friendly and present during our entire visit. Nice sandy beach by the river and there were several people out fishing over the 3 days we were here. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Great private campground off the beaten path.

The spots are a little tight but close to the Salmon River. Each site is separated by thick well groomed grass. Our only complaint was the sprinklers. We like to stay up late however the sprinklers go off once around dinner time and again around 11pm. The site hosts did warn us about the sprinklers but they did hamper some of the nightly activities. This is a great RV park on your journey through Idaho.

Lovely RV park, it’s new but you can tell they are working to keep it well maintained! The upper sites are a little tight, but we got our 40 ft 5th wheel in with no problem. We would definitely stay again but would want to be in the lower sites next to the water. They are a little wider and of course the water is right there! We would definitely stay again but would want to be in the lower sites next to the water. They are a little wider and of course the water is right there! The 10 mile road off of 95 to the park is very narrow. We made it no problem, but if you’re faint of heart you might want to reconsider. There are spots on the road where only one vehicle can pass. Verizon coverage is good only when the campground’s extender was working.

Caveat here...we were visiting here in the Riggins area and took a drive up the canyon and found this new RV campground and I thought it deserved a review so that one can a) support a new campground and b) take in the beautiful views of this resort.Firstly, the drive along the paved NF-1614 is beautiful, but at times can be narrow ...moreCaveat here...we were visiting here in the Riggins area and took a drive up the canyon and found this new RV campground and I thought it deserved a review so that one can a) support a new campground and b) take in the beautiful views of this resort.Firstly, the drive along the paved NF-1614 is beautiful, but at times can be narrow but passable even for big rigs. The resort has standard wifi and no cell phone signal...so keep that in mind. The spacing between sites are normal with new grass. The resort has plenty of amenities, such as a beach area, volleyball court, helicopter rides and rafting trips. There is a $10 price difference between RV sites that are mountainside and riverside.
