Site is very narrow but nicely level. No picnic table, grill or fire ring. This was a very convenient location as we were here to visit friends. The highway and hotel noise were a bit annoying occasionally, but overall not that bad. We had a great stay here. WiFi was terrible.

Nice people in the office. Campers are very close to each other. Had several problems with the full time people behind us. Sites were very un level but it’s in a great location if you like being right next to the interstate. The whole time we were here there was no service and the wifi wouldn’t work.

We had ourselves set up at River Park, in part due to great location to everything in Valdosta. Unfortunately the night we arrived she fell terribly ill and we had to take her to the ER. She was treated and released but still very sick and had to go back to the ER the next day where she stayed for the next 6 days. Obviously this was a stressful time but Pete and Victoria were super helpful and let us extend our stay with no issues. They were very attentive to check on us as we went back and forth to the hospital. They even allowed a late night laundry detail when normally they lock it up at 10ish. They showed genuine concern for my daughter as she was dealing with a major respiratory, not Covid related believe it or not…they tested her twice a day for 6 days. I ended up working from the camper with no issues as I already and a remote employee and Verizon cell service was fine for hotspot off iPhone. The place was quiet other than the occasional landscapers blowing off sites with gas blowers. Nights were no issues. I suppose if you are outside you may hear I-75 traffic but never inside the camper unless a tractor trailer was Jake braking. Site was at the front of the park, maybe designed for the one nighters with easy pull through, but level with very nice grass so no outdoor carpet needed (or allowed, to protect it, they take pride in the beautification of the park and it was evident from the time they spent tending to it). Kind hearted managers made that part of our lives as stress free as possible and remained flexible with us since we didn’t know day to day what would happen. I’m a little late getting this posted but felt our experience was such that I had to share the kindness they showed my family. All is well with the kid but couldn’t stay at school and ended up remote this year. But it was all for the best. When she plans to return to in person we will certainly be back at River Park.

We stayed one night on our trip home. The office staff was efficient and friendly. Our site was paved but not level. We used the campsite restroom before heading out and it was very clean. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

  • Wonderful park, friendly neighbors and staff, would stay again

We were in the long-term area with several other travel nurses. First, let's get the negatives out of the way: traffic noise from I-75 and unlevel lots. Both of these issues vary depending on where in the park you are located. If you can handle those two issues, the rest is great. All of the overnight spots are paved and many have picnic tables or concrete patio areas I think they are all pull-thru as well. Most of the seasonal sites have paved spots to park a car, but the RV pad is dirt or gravel and few are pull-thru. All sites have 30 and 50 amp hookups, water, sewer, and cable. Weekly and monthly rates are available. Management has changed since the previous review and they have been wonderful. Unlike Valdosta Oaks, this park is treed with lots of shade which is great for the summer season. Access is very easy off of I-75, with the entrance directly across from the Raceway gas station which has both diesel and gas. Maneuvering into some of the lots can be challenging but unless you're a brand new RV'er it is very doable. You are within a mile of the Valdosta Mall, Publix, Lowe's, many restaurants, and if you like Ice Cream I highly recommend Bruster's on Norman Drive behind Red Lobster. Just in the time we have been here they have done a lot of work improving the property, and it really shows. They do have a small fenced dog area and very clean showers and restrooms if you need them. They do not have a pool (it looks like the dog area used to be a pool). The area is well lit at night, but not so bright that it's annoying. We will certainly stay here again when we are back this way.

You're tucked between a loud hotel and I-75. The cable didn't work. I didn't particularly care for the check in woman's attitude. Bathrooms were clean. The black top pad was narrower than our trailer. She didn't need to put us next to the loud hotel considering the place was completely empty .
